I would give Proud Pie 10 stars if i could. I bought a whole coconut cream pie from them. The taste was great, but the texture was off. It’s usually very silky. I saw the owner today when i returned the pie. He not only refunded my money, he very generously Gave me a whole blueberry crumble pie. He cares about his product and he values his customers. He should do very well. I’m definitely returning. More businesses should be as customer friendly as Scott is. I highly recommend this shop.

I got the Wobbly Turtle pie. It was amazing, because I have a sweet tooth and it was excellent! I’m not much of a pie person, but it’s close to home and I wanted to try it(as well as support local business). I would recommend to anyone to go! Great scenery, nice place to hangout and enjoy a cup of a coffee or study/do online work. My boyfriend and roommate also loved their pies. We will definitely be coming back and look forward to becoming a regular customer.

My daughters and I tried it for the first time last night. We ordered the Wonkaberry, Ghirardelli Chocolate Silk, Miss Daisy’s sweet fudge and Sweet Potato with a pecan/caramel glaze. We set them all out once we got home and taste-tested each and every one. ALL were exceptionally delicious. Being a chocoholic, I expected the chocolate silk and the sweet fudge to be overly sweet, but they were just perfect! Actually, all the pies were not super sweet as you’d find in a grocery store or at a restaurant. The balance of the pies were on point! We will definitely make this place our goto when we have a sweet craving.

What a gem! We were so excited to try out Proud Pies for dessert and coffee and it did not disappoint. My husband had the turtle, which he loved and I had the cherry, which was perfect tart and exactly how I like it. We will definitely be back to try the sandwiches and other flavors.

One of my new favorites in the area. I had a loose leaf Earl Grey, which was great along with a rich fudge pie which was decadent. The menu is vast and will definitely be back. The staff was great too.

I’ll keep this sweet and simple! Delicious and fresh pies and very helpful staff. We brought home the blueberry crumb and it paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream. Can’t wait to come back and try out more pies.

Love it here! Great atmosphere and pies. We ordered the lemon chess with blueberries and apple caramel pies! They were both very good. We will for sure go back!

Stopped in as family was shopping at supermarket across the street. Read some reviews and decided to give it a try. I’m a big fan of lemon meringue pie and ask for a slice. Price point was good and size was generous. The pie itself look like it was freshly made and looked forward to trying it when I got home. Immediately with the first bite the lemon filling was good however the whip cream had no taste to it at all. It almost seemed it was put on there for decoration and not intended to add flavor to the pie. Disappointed, would’ve given a great review for just the lemon filling and crust if the whip cream was not on the pie. Ended up scraping the whip cream off and adding store-bought whip cream to add sweetness to pie.

Took family here. My family said the pies were good, but I didn’t give it 5 stars because of limited selection of pies to choose from. Very limited when we came at 7 on Saturday night.

This place is so cute and quaint. First time here and there’s too many choices of huge pies to choose from. I can’t wait to come back and try more. I also appreciate the coffee here. Simple but again plenty of choices. Will be back for more!

Cute décor and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We had the key lime pie and peach pie which were both excellent. They also serve coffee, tea, and breakfast sandwiches. It’s nice to find a good pie shop in Katy. We will definitely be back again :)

Usually the fudge pies I get are either too rich or not enough flavor. Not so at Proud Pie. It was just right and I was able to finish the slice. The love the shortbread crust of the pie. Complemented it pretty well. I also ordered The Frenchman sandwich. I’m glad I chose croissant over focaccia bread as it probably wouldn’t have tasted as good. I’ll have to check out their other pies next time.

We have been waiting for this place to open ever since we started seeing signs. Loved the inside décor very shabby chic. The tables, sitting area were all nicely thought about. This place should and will be a STARBUCKS killer once it has all the kinks knocked out. We ordered 2 sandwiches backpacker and Big boy. My opinion the backpacker tasted pretty lame. Lack for flavor is enough said! The bread focaccia which I never heard of actually tasted pretty good. But if I had to pick for my next visit the croissant is much better. Wife ordered Big boy which she loved and still raves about the awesome bacon. She has always told me can’t go wrong with bacon and she was RIGHT. Big boy is the sandwich for you bacon lovers and soon to be. She also ordered white mocha which tasted very milky and not very coffee-eeeee. Also the lid for the cup is a complete fail seems to be the correct size but does not stay capped every time you grab the cup the lid pops off. If your looking for the good H2O they have a complimentary water bar with lemons in the fridge. The service was subpar but I totally understand they are all still learning the system. Oh and for the name proud pies, the pie part which we didn’t get to order. If you are looking to buy a whole pie call in advance, they don’t have walk-in purchases for pies as of now. It’s all about supply and demand. I would say it again proudly this has strong potential to be a STARBUCKS killer: p . Last note this is a very cute neighborhood café!

Finally made it to Proud Pie. There was a line when we entered. Once we got to order we got the Spinach Bacon & Brie quiche, apple cranberry pecan pie slice and a caramel espresso frozen drink. They take your name and you pick it up from the counter when it’s ready. It was taking a while to get our order, so I had to take one of our kids to the car. When my husband finally came out with our order he had the right slices but he had a hot caramel macchiato. It wasn’t the drink I ordered but with fussy kids, we weren’t going back in. The quiche was great tasting. Lots of bacon which my husband loved. The dough was clearly not cooked all of the way though. I didn’t eat the crust because it was still a bit mushy from being underdone. The pie slice was huge! We easily shared it. And finally the wrong drink, it was one of the best caramel macchiatos I’ve had. I really wanted a cool drink, but I’m not disappointed. So anyways, 3 stars for speed, underdone dough at a pie shop, and wrong drink. I’ll still be back to try the key lime pie.

Really tasty pie. Right by marini’s empanadas. Their hot chocolate is also very tasty. The restaurant is really nice. The designing and home touches are really cool. Will visit again for more pie. Needs a baby changing system in the restrooms or else I would give 5 stars.

As an extreme sweets fanatic, I can’t decide if it’s a good or bad thing they opened up next door to me. I have gotten a wide range of their menu and everything has been DELICIOUS! First couple times I went in, they were out of pies by noon. What? A pie place that never has pies?! But it was also their first couple weeks open and they needed to get acclimated with supply and demand. I finally got the State fair caramel apple pie was fabbbbuulousss, a little bit of crunch and a little bit of soft sweetness. Even tasted great the next day after sticking it in the microwave for 20 seconds to warm it up. Raspberry mojito mint iced tea was also great! Right amount of sweet with mint leaves in there makes it perfect. The Tuscan Clucker sandwich was also great; it could use some arugula or some greens in there, but I really enjoyed it. and their ghiradelli cocounut macarons were also great. Meant to save half for the boyfriend but I may or may not have ate most of them in one sitting and left him only one(I have no self control when it comes to sweets). Service has also been great every time I have been in. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Proud Pie for showing up right down the street from me to ruin any illusions I had of eating healthier. Well there’s always adding an hour or two to my workout which is what I’ll have to do if the rest of their pies are as good as the two I’ve already tried. I really wanted to try the caramel apple pie, but they didn’t have any when I went. I’ve tried the chocolate turtle silk pie which is fantastic. Not too sweet and the crust was buttery and perfect. My only complaint is that it could be more turtle-y. I don’t see how it could be much different from the regular silk pie because the Heath pieces were kind of sparse. I would have preferred more of a Heath presence which is why I opted for the turtle rather than regular chocolate silk pie. Still, minor complaint because it was great. My favorite so far is the blueberry lemon chess. I like that they served the blueberries separately because the pie was amazing without that addition. I’m not usually a blueberry fan but when I did try a piece with the blueberry compote on top I was pleasantly surprised. I’m not sure which way I preferred it and that’s saying a lot because I’m not a blueberry fan. The girl who was writing up the specials on the board when I walked in was super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back for more pie!

Proud pie, you should be very proud of your proud pie indeed! Say that tens times fast! A friend took me here the other day after raving about their pies. It’s located in the same plaza as Marini’s Empanadas; another great place FYI. What is it about pie that makes it so tasty, so addictive? Well for one, it HAS to have an amazing crust– something substantial in which to hug and support it’s amazing filling but also flaky, buttery and delicate enough to give you that contrast between the sweetness and decadence of it’s filling. Proud pie excels in both! I truly, madly, deeply loved my pie; the Wobble Turtle. It’s like a French Silk pie made love with a Heath bar and had a baby! Oh baby! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Remember that ‘When Harry Met Sally’ scene with Meg Ryan? Yes? Well it was that satisfying ;) I have only two complaints, super minor infractions. One: I want more pie and y’all are so popular, you sold out of a lot. That’s not your fault, but please make more pie. The other terribly selfish complaint I have is the sandwiches. Proud pie, please focus on what you are completely, mind-blowingly amazing at and leave the sammiches up to someone else. I’d suggest introducing savory pies instead– chicken pot pie, veggie pot pie, quiches? I’d be there every other day! This is their soft opening week and I gotta say, minus the sub par sandwiches we had, the pie, service and execution is outstanding. The employees are well trained and very nice, love their uniforms! It is a wonderful addition to Katy!
