New in town from NYC. Anxious to find really good Chinese. Read the reviews and decided to try it. Called for take out. Said to pick up in 15 minutes. It took 30. While I was waiting I decided immediately that I was glad I wasn’t eating in. The décor is so tired and run down it is truly depressing. The oversized fish tank in the front door is dirty with woodgrain contact paper peeling off of the base. The longer I looked, the more I wondered about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Turned my stomach. After getting the food home we found it to be just okay to substandard. Ordered Nime Chow(or Vietnamese spring roll w/shrimp) they weren’t great, just okay. Not wrapped tightly enough. Egg rolls were tiny and didn’t appear to be made in house. Most entrees were filled with red and green peppers making them all taste alike. No outstanding sauces or ingredients to make anything a standout. Made me wonder if the other reviewers had ever had really good Chinese. We had Ginger Pineapple Beef and Shrimp, Shrimp and Scallop dish, Pork LoMein, Sesame Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, Chicken Lettuce wraps. I think was a very wide variety of choices by which to judge the restaurant. Final judgement = we won’t be back!

They’re a lot of Chinese restaurants to choose from, but this place is my absolute favorite. I have never been disappointed with anything I’ve had, but I love their hot and sour soup and special fried rice. I always get delivery and they’re always so quick! I will recommend this place to anyone!

We got delivery and it seems like they have reverted to their old ways.(They briefly had better food with more and fresher ingredients. The food was crisp and not over cooked.) Everything we ordered tonight was one color, mushy and over-the-top greasy! We put our spring rolls on five paper towels and the grease went all the way through! One person spit their food out. My broccoli was slimy and the meat –I honestly couldn’t tell if it was beef or pork! We ended up throwing away over $ 30.00 of food and are now scrambling some eggs for dinner.

Got a take out and the fried rice was ice cold and extremely dry! Pepper steak was salty! The only thing that was any good was the egg rolls(really spring rolls but egg rolls on the menu). We will not be going back!

Love this place. I met my future wife there! Other than meeting my wife there(waitress). The food was very good for Chinese-American. The service was great but then again I may be a little biased.

I love the American chinese food, No peas in shrimp fried rice, spring rolls greasy, chicken with no seasoning. It’s was great, my favorite place to sit in, and get Rude service.

I always come here for authentic, Chinese food. They switched owners awhile ago and there has been a HUGE improvement in food and management. Everything is inexpensive and delicious! The menu has a large variety of food: rice, noodles, beef, etc. I usually get beef noodle soup. The beef noodle soup’s broth is very similar to what you can get at Chinatown. The noodles are long and thick; the crisp vegetables bring it all together for a delicious home-style beef noodle soup. The portions are very well sized, pretty big actually, for the price. What a deal! The customer service is on POINT! The staff knows me now because of how much I come here. Definitely try this place out!

we have been ordering delivery here for over two years. food was always decent and you could say service was too. there must have been a change in management or they just don’t give a crap anymore. we ordered delivery last night(annually we probably order about $ 500 worth of Chinese food) that’s pretty good business if u ask me!!! we usually check the food to make sure it’s all there… not tonight and we paid for it. they forgot the general tsaos chicken which is my kids favorite dish. my wife called several times and they assured us that he was new and that he would be there shortly. hour and a half later no food still! finally my wife calls for the third time and the guy gives her an attitude saying the delivery driver delivered the dish the first time and they weren’t going to do anything about it. I guessed there’s no such thing as customer service or customer loyalty. wow!!! instead of making it right… they elect to just lose our business instead! never again! bye, bye orient café! we will look elsewhere for Chinese food… too many other places!

The shrimp tempura tasted like cardboard and my steamed vegetable dumplings were hard and crunchy. Not fans.

I was so happy to find a good Chinese restaurant with a bonus delivery service. Recently I have been very disappointed with the food and service. Restaurant updated, menu too. Suspect there are new owners. I am bummed.

We were excited to find a Chinese place that delivered. The price and portions were great but one bite into the chicken and it was pink! It totally ruined my appetite and it was my money down the drain. Disappointed.

We have ordered delivery from this place twice now and I think we have finally found our go-to Chinese food. Delivery is always fast and the food is hot, fresh, and tasty. After trying most every Chinese delivery in the area, I feel this one is the best all around.

Ordered large steamed rice, large fried rice and dumplings. I was told 15 minutes on the phone but when I arrived it was an additional 20 minutes and it wasn’t busy. Gonna keep looking for a good Chinese restaurant.

DONOTEATHERE! UNETHICALMANAGERANDPOORCUSTOMERSERVICE! This was the worst experience with Chinese food I have ever had. I usually don’t complain about much but people have to know about this place. The food was bland but ok(except the lettuce wraps that tasted sour) but what made it so bad was the way I was treated on the phone and the poor customer service I experienced. The manager even told me, «You’re not the boss, I am. You don’t get what you want». I was helping my buddy move out of his apt and we ordered three entrees, spring rolls and lettuce wraps. The food again, was bland but mostly ok except for the lettuce wraps that had a sour taste to them. I asked for plasticware and sauce on the side for two of the three entrees. They brought no plasticware and NOSAUCE. Not on the entrée, not on the side NOTANYWHERE. I called them back and politely told them the things they forgot. They said the would send the driver right back. 30 min later I called again and it was like they didn’t know what I was talking about. By then the food was cold and I told them I didn’t want the food and I wanted my money back. They tried to make excuses but I insisted I wanted a refund so they finally sent a driver back TOPICKUPTHEFOOD. Not much had been eaten. They left with the food and I was promised a refund. Two days later, no refund. I called three times asking for a manager and was promised each time that the manager would call me but he did not. Finally I call today and caught him. He told me they did not come get the food(which they surely did) and that he was not refunding my money(after I was promised my money back the day I ordered). He was very rude and said«I don’t care if you tell everyone in the world we stink I’m not refunding your money». So I’m telling everyone anyway. This place offers bland, sour food with HORRIBLE customer service. I’ll be disputing the charge on my credit card and filing a compliant with the better business bureau!!!

Got their menu in the mail and threw it in the drawer. Finally trying it today and… omg, why didn’t I try it sooner? I ordered the mango chicken and shrimp with a small side of string beans. All of it was hot, fresh and delicious! They also have fast and free delivery. :) My new go-to for sure!

After getting the menu in the mail, I should have known better than to order from here. Menu is pricey, delivery was slow and the food was forgettable. The sauces were bland and the noodles were greasy. We took a couple bites and that was it. It just didn’t taste right. The chicken didn’t taste like chicken and it didn’t look like regular Chinese food. Oh well, we tried.

The food is so great and fresh! The new owner has brought in so much fresh energy, the delivery only takes 35 mins and great staff, great food! I ordered daily special, general Tso chicken, crispy outside, tender inside! The egg roll isn’t frozen like other Chinese restaurant, and the wonton is big in wonton soup! Definitely Will come back!

Located in a strip center off of the Grand Parkway. The outside of the restaurant is very plain but most places in strip centers are. Waking in I was greeted by 4 employees lined up at the front door. Everyone was very nice. The inside of the restaurant was clean but dated. It wasn’t decorated in an Oriental theme, looked more like a Golden Corral. I ordered one of the all day specials. With the special you get an entrée plus your choice of soup. It also comes with an egg roll and a crab puff. I had the orange chicken, it wasn’t bad. Large pieces of white meat. It was cooked well and the sauce was Ok but it wasn’t’ spicy. A 3 star entrée comparable to what you get at the mall. The egg roll was the frozen store bought type. The crab puff had a funky taste, didn’t eat it. The worst was the hot and sour soup. It had a fishy taste and was so salty that I had to trow it away. I should have seen the red flag. Dinner time and no one was in the restaurant. With 20+ Chinese restaurants in a 3 mile radius, don’t think I will be coming back.
