Hauerland’s

I am a frequent shopper of Hauerland’s, but after my experience today, I will not be back. I purchased a Thymes 6.5 ounce Frazier Fir candle and was charged $ 38.97 (including tax). I thought the charge was a bit high. Sure enough — the retail price is $ 28.00. I believe in shopping local if possible and supporting small business. Sorry to say, I will not shop here again and do not recommend you shop here either, unless you want to pay 36% over the retail price. :/

Just seems like the suburban mom version of berings. weird. I would much rather take the drive to berings.

Have never been in here that I did not get excellent customer service and the inventory turns constantly so nothing stale. Love the Christmas section as an ornament makes an outstanding gift anytime of the year.
Pricey, yes, not junk, treasures are quality. Easy access and unusual home décor. Ideal to leave small children at the casa, too many things to touch that break easily.

Rude associates. Went in to price Consuela Bags. They were priced more
expensive then other boutiques. I passed on bag, but thought to look around as store has unique items. Well because I went into «sale» area and didn’t buy expensive bag and opted for cute Vera Bradley one what little customer service I received before went downhill in a hurry. I was in my equestrian riding clothes and not as fancy I guess to their liking. I will Never go back again! Which is a shame because I live so close to it.

This place is awesome! They have a variety of upscale gift items, candles, home goods, lots of stuff for the ladies and always carry really nice Holiday items. The owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I haven’t found anything like it in Katy You should definitely check them out!

I used to frequent this store quite often. However, I became tired of the «clique» of ladies which had been hired. They were more concerned with their gossip and visiting than assisting customers. The owner had always been very pleasant, but she apparently brought in an assistant who hired this group of women-​very rude. I am not sure if they are still employed-​i only visit the shop as a very last resort.

I’m amazed this little gem hasn’t been reviewed before. Or maybe many people see the sign and assume it’s exactly like every other gift shop with tiny little knick-​knacks that will just collect dust on the receiver’s shelf.
This gift shop is where I go when I want to buy a treat for myself! They have purses, ornaments, Pandora, Lampe Berger, but that is not typically what I am buying for myself. I’m typically buying the Voluspa or other heavily scented candles or some of the french milled soap (and no, it’s not cheap). And listen up guys — your ladies would like these candles probably with some of the scented bath salts they sell!
So next time you are making a run for HEB or into Spec’s, then give this place a shot if you have a birthday or anniversary approaching! You’ll love your new goodies!
