I loved loved loved the last little retreat this team put on in August. It offered some amazing insight into understanding who you are, your purpose in life, and thriving. Mahalo nui loa Britt Yap for an absolutely stunning heart and mind opening today! Having Reiki done to seek clarity for what I want in life, honing in I my strengths, and kicking aside bad habits was just what this overworked and stressed out mama needed! Honestly, I haven’t felt this good about myself in years! Yes, I said the word MYSELF… When we become parents all the «self» seems to fly out the window. You helped me seek self love and appreciation for myself, so that in turn can give love to my family (instead of fear and anger). I’m on a roll… Time to write some preschool curriculum! Holomua :)

From the first conversation I had with Britt, I knew she genuinely cared and wanted to help. I came to her for Reiki and hypnotherapy, and it was worth every penny and more. After three sessions, it has left me in awe with how effective it has been. I am so much more focused on my goals and cannot believe my own progress.
The difference between Britt and other practitioners I’ve met is that she takes a lot of time to get to know you, coach you and really make sure you’re comfortable. UPDATE: I just did a Past Life Regression session with Britt, and I just had to come update my review to share on this because days later I am STILL in awe. I will admit I was a bit nervous, as I did not know what to expect with this. However, it was one of the best things I’ve ever done. Here’s what to expect. Britt will put you into hypnosis and then she gently guides you into revisiting your past lives. You feel very relaxed and safe with her, so your spirit will open up and allow you to glimpse into previous lives, so you can answer the questions she’ll ask. It all comes VERY naturally and freely, I could not believe it! I totally surprised myself, as I was going on and on about two past lives. I was able to recount crazy details such as exact years, the name of an Indian tribe, etc. that there is NO way I could have made up. It was SO powerful that I was left extremely emotional with tears running down my face. Afterwards, Britt reads you everything you relayed, and you analyze it together. I couldn’t believe how much it put things into perspective, truly connecting the dots. So many of the things I am struggling with are due to issues in my past lives, and this was the confirmation and closure I needed. Many of the issues we cannot seem to overcome are deeply rooted in things our spirit has been through (i.e. I struggle with overeating because I was malnourished in a past life). You also learn so much about why you are the way you are (i.e. I am very independent because in the past I had to completely rely on my spouses). It’s incredible!!! I totally understand how it really sounds out there or hard to believe. But trust me, have an open mind and give this a chance. Britt has a gift for this and it can truly transform your life. I already cannot wait to go back and dive into even more past lives, and to bring my mom for a session one day too. This is something so profound that it will affect me for the rest of my life. I cannot recommend it enough!

I went to Britt a couple of times for reiki sessions. At first I was very nervous, but the first few minutes of sitting down and conversing with her, I felt such comfort and felt safe enough to just open up. There’s something about her that makes you know you can trust her. She’s makes you feel like she’s really there for you and is sincerely there to help. There are no judgements. It’s like you’re talking with your bestie, but even better because she has all these great tips to make you become a better person.
Britt taught me how to be aware of how I view situations. She taught to notice when I’m viewing them in a negative way, and how to flip it so I can see the bright side of things. This alone as helped me in so many different ways. The people around me can feel a difference in the way I carry myself and also in the way I speak. It was weird too because at first I didn’t know that there was an actual change until I was getting comments from everyone. I thought I was just being me and trying to focus on the things I needed to change. So it was nice to hear that others notice.
I think reiki is pretty cool. Sometimes you can see or feel things that can help you to get a better idea of what you want to work on, or sometimes just give you hope for your future. Britt walks you through everything. There wasn’t an uncomfortable moment for me at all while she was doing reiki. All you have to do is to relax. After it’s all done she sits and talks to you about what she may have saw or felt, which blows my mind because in my session we felt the same things. You walk out feeling uplifted, like everything you were worried about is going to be okay. For me, that’s one of the best parts of it all.

My boyfriend and I went to Britt for separate past life regression sessions, one right after another. We both were seeking clarity and deeper meaning in our lives, and were interested in seeing how our past lives may be affecting us in this lifetime.
Although I did a lot of research on what to expect during hypnotherapy, I was still a bit nervous going in. Britt clearly explained what I should expect during the session, which helped put me at ease. She is also has a very calming yet strong energy, which makes you feel safe.
She explained that although many people can actually «see» what’s going on in their lives, some experience other senses. While I was hypnotized, I personally could not view anything in the two lives I visited; rather, I had innate «feelings» of this or that… that I was male/​female, that I was wearing very little/​a lot of clothes… that I was at ease, bored, sad, etc.
Further, for me at least, it wasn’t as if I was trapped in another world (which was a fear I previously had). Rather, I always knew that I was me, physically lying on the couch, as myself… I just had a «knowing» of what was going on as Britt guided me through my lives. For my boyfriend, he could actually «see» things and explained it as feeling like he was watching a movie going on in front of him.
We had both experienced two past lives each, and with Britt’s guidance and questioning, were able to get lessons from each life visited. After our individual sessions, we came back together with Britt to discuss our experiences. At the end of the day, I walked away both with some life lessons for myself and a better understanding of why my boyfriend is the way he is. It was an interesting and insightful experience, and I recommend it to anyone considering learning more about themselves.

I met Brit Yap at a Wellness Expo last year. I was just browsing, however, when I came across to her booth, I was instantly drawn in. She did Reiki on me that day. My results were miraculous! I had been having issues with my pancreas and had very high cholesterol and triglycerides. I went into the session with the intention of her healing and repairing my damaged pancreas. About a week later, I took my routine bloodwork and to my amazement, all my levels had dropped substantially! My total cholesterol level went from 450 to 220! My triglyceride level came down from 2500 to 640! Even my doctor was amazed. He asked if I did anything different. It was then that I realized that the only difference was that I had a Reiki session with Brit. I have written proof on paper that she is an AMAZING healer! One of the things I really liked about Brit was that I felt really at ease talking and opening up to her. Her calm demeanor puts you at ease and you feel like you are talking to an old friend. I was so impressed with my first session, that I scheduled another session. At my next appointment, we did a past life regression session. I had gone to see her for help with my anxiety issues. I was skeptical and scared at first, but Brit reassured me that she would guide me through the process. It was very eye opening to realize who I had been in the past! It was a very empowering experience and has helped me tremendously with my anxiety issues.
On another occasion, my dog got very ill. She was diagnosed with IMHA, a deadly disorder that kills about 85% of dogs that get it. Desperate, I asked Brit if she could come to my home and do Reiki on my dog. She spent some time with my dog and my dog has made a full recovery!!! I am so grateful for her abilities!
I am excitedly anticipating my next session with her in a few days! I highly recommend this talented and beautiful person to all my friends and family.

I went to Britt for reiki and past life regression. I didn’t know what to expect but I am pleased with the results I’ve gotten. I’m sure everyone’s results will vary, but maybe my experience will be relatable to those who read this.
Reiki provided me with clarity in the sense of how I felt emotionally. I’m usually a headstrong person but I found my emotional release and peace within myself. All the stress I had with worries felt like they were being massaged as I heard the noise in my head being blown away. I’ve seen some visions that Britt and I tried to decipher after but she just told me to be more aware of the things around me. In less than a week what we deciphered turned out to be spot on which was so ironic!
The past life regression was very interesting. It made me learn more about myself and what I could do to improve myself personally. At first some things didn’t quite make sense, but later I had learned the true meanings.

I went to Britt for a past life regression in order to obtain clarity in my present life. Britt helped me formulate a clear intention prior to going into the regression and she thoroughly explained the process, which helped me feel very relaxed. During the regression, I always felt safe since Britt provided a sturdy anchor for me as I went through the lives. For each past life, she had me identify how the lessons were applicable to my current life, which was a notably informative exercise.
After the regression, Britt provides plenty of time to process the session and she reviews her notes with you. After having the past life regression, I feel a renewed sense of clarity and passion. Many synchronicities I have previously encountered now make more sense, and I have been able to become more clear about what I want to achieve. Most importantly, I feel a heightened sense of appreciation for my current relationships and the opportunities I have in this life. Early into my pregnancy, Britt offered to practice reiki on me. Not knowing exactly what to expect, she first educated me on her reiki process and what it would entail. I mentioned to her that I was struggling with my time management, and at the time I felt stressed and overwhelmed with where I was in my life. She made me feel comfortable even before the process started. Then once my reiki experience was over, the next few weeks started to unravel itself and without even really noticing, my To-​Do list was getting shorter, I seemed to have more patience for my every day tasks and my overall attitude seemed more positive then weeks prior. It was weird because I didn’t even consciously try harder. As a first timer of reiki, I went into the experience with absolutely no expectations, and in the end, I can say that with Britt’s reiki experience, it kick started me to get more things done and most importantly with focus.

I had a rejuvenating experience with Britt. It was my first time experiencing reiki and hypnotherapy, and it is an area of natural medicine that I was not familiar with nor did I completely understand. I had an unexplainable connection with her and felt that I could safely open up my mind and let her in to tidy things up. I am still reaping the benefits to this day, two months later.

I had a nagging knee injury for several months. I was going to physical therapy three times a week and continued to see my doctors. I had X-​rays and an MRI done and was told I didn’t need surgery. Great!
The pain. That was another story.
I saw mention of Holomua Healing Arts on a friend’s social media page and decided to contact Britt to find out more. I figured I didn’t have anything to lose and may as well try her Reiki service.
From the moment I spoke with Britt over the phone, I felt very comfortable talking with her. I felt as though I was talking with a good friend. We booked my appointment and I saw her the next week.
Britt took the time to get to know me better. She explained everything and made me feel comfortable about being there. From the beginning, she had told me that I would only need a 30-​minute session and nothing more (honest and upfront without trying to get more $). She sat with me for a long time and didn’t rush right into the service. I couldn’t wait to experience her healing touch.
After the Reiki session, she provided water and told me to take it easy. She wanted me to let her know how I felt after a week.
I must admit, as the days went on after the session, I began to think it was all a hoax. By the third day after the session, my knee hurt even more. Now I was really skeptical.
However, six days after my session, my knee was no longer in pain. No constant aching or locking of the knee. I was stunned. I couldn’t believe what just happened. I can say that I’ve been pain-​free ever since.

I’ve heard of hypnotherapy, but have never done it before. I was especially interested in past life regressions (learning about your past lives). Ever wondered why you’re just attracted to certain things, or there’s certain birthmarks or mannerisms that you just have? Well I’ve always been curious and wanted to try it out! My friends in the mainland had done them and when I found out Britt was offering them with her hypnotherapy services, I was stoked and jumped at a chance to do a session!
I didn’t know what to expect but Britt goes through everything with you before your sessions starts. As we started I didn’t know what to expect but I trusted in Britt and kept an open mind and heart. Britt is very calming and really gets your mind toque te down and relax. I swear it was such an eye opener! I was able to experience my pasts lives in a dreamlike state. I know to most people it sounds a bit out there but it really puts things in perspective and made me learn so much more about myself. The great thing about Britt is she specializes in past regressions into your past lives that are suppose to give you lessons and guidance to use in your present life.
For me, one of my past lives I was mermaid and the crazy thing is I was able to vividly see myself in that lifetime during my session. It was like a «ah ha,» moment because it all makes sense why I love to go free diving, I like collecting shells and trinkets. Britt takes notes during your session that she gives to you to have as reference of your session. The most amazing thing is I had to describe what I was wearing and how I looked in my visions, when I got home I looked at this mermaid statue my friend had found at an antique shop and given to me years ago as a just cause gift, it was exactly how I looked like in my past life! It all connected!
For those who what more introspect about themselves, guidance, or just plain curious. I totally recommend Britt and her services. I swear you will learn more about yourself and your journey in this lifetime!

I only kind of sort of knew what to expect when it came to hypnotherapy. I had done meditation and calming exercises before but was a bit nervous for my first hypnotherapy session.
The mister and I went together for a join hypnotherapy session. The purpose was to help us attain more of our healthy living goals. My favorite story from my very first session is with one suggestion she made: choose whole grains instead of refined ones whenever possible. Kid you not, not even an hour after we left Britt, we stopped for a poke bowl at Poke Stop (we hadn’t eaten lunch and were starving). When the lady asked me what kind of rice, without even thinking I said brown rice. Just so you know, I NEVER ordered brown rice before then. If served brown rice, I would eat it, but I would never oder it myself. I now only order brown rice. It might not seem like a big step, but I know it was one piece of a bigger puzzle, and a difference that was really tangible to me.
Britt is really accommodating and thorough. She works with you to make sure the process is personalized to you and that it works for you in the best way. She gets to know you, your goals, and your comforts to ensure each session is productive and makes you feel good.
I’m heading back to Britt for some personal hypnotherapy this weekend, and I am happy to know that I’ll be in good hands.
