Excellent coffee and sticky buns. Loved my sandwich(I got the chorizo and egg, added cheese) and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Great little spot and super cute inside.

This place is amazing. We’ve literally gone for breakfast three days in a row. Their breakfast sandwiches are SO good– the aioli is spectacular. Highly recommended.

Great bran muffin and spinach feta croissant, however egg and cheese sandwich was only fair. Not sure that there was any cheese on it and the bun was burnt. Good coffee.

This place is so so good I had the vegan sausage and eggs on a house made taro bun and it was seriously delicious. People are so nice here too. Loved it.

Pros: Yummy sticky buns Patio seating Decent breakfast sandwich Cons: Weak coffee A bit expensive for what you get Staff seemed stretched thin – took 20 mins to get my sticky bun warmed up & they forgot a bunch of other people’s orders

Picked up something for breakfast. We dropped in an hour after they opened, but it seemed like they are either out of some or still working on getting the items out. tried their cream cheese french toast muffin: it’s ok, the ham/cheese croissone is pretty interesting and I would get it again. The blueberry one is alright. Our favorite was the mac nut sticky bun for sure! Also picked up some coffee and great to go with breakfast items. Price is a bit high, but I will come back for their mac nut sticky bun!

Stopped by Passion Bakery on the way to our kayaking adventure up the nearby Wailua River(sp?). We initially went in to get some lunch sandwiches, and ended up leaving with cookies, pastries, coffee, breads, brownies AND lunch sandwiches. Owner and his staff were very friendly, and described each of the items in detail(which is why we left with so many goodies)! So glad this place was recommended to us, and would definitely return!

Guava muffin is amazing, always ask the baker what they like. Breakfast sandwiches were delicious in warm buns. Worth the quick trip from the airport.

Very good but just short of excellent. Had the jalapeño breakfast sandwich, and it lived up to its name — full of pickled jalapeños(a few too many for me). I will say, the sweetbread bun they had was perfection. My husband had the chorIzo sandwich, it was wayyyyyy good! The pineapple scone I had was absolutely delightful! On the whole, liked but didn’t love.

Best baked goods I had on the island, along with Midnight Bear Bakery. We had breakfast sandwiches, one with egg and feta and another egg with vegan sausage, both with chipotle mayo. Both were great. Soy latte was ok, the muffin and scone were great too. Vegetarian and Vegan friendly. Its off a side street parallel and behind the highway, makes a V with the Shell Gas station.

Amazing breakfast sandwich. The muffin and sweet roll were okay, but the breakfast sandwich is a must have. They use fresh rolls and everything seems to be perfectly combined. Definitely a place to check out for breakfast while you are on the island. Best to get it to go as they don’t have a ton of seating.

Stopped here finally on the way to the Airport a few days ago. Its an interesting operation. They have a bakery case full of goodies to buy. Plus they are making insane amounts of cookies and sandwiches that the tour companies pickup. So its kinda like picking something up from a small commercial bakery. Kinda hot inside, would definitely plan on taking your goodies to go. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. I tried the Vegan Italian Sausage and Egg sandwich for breakfast. It was really good, and big too. Mostly I just prefer no meat rather than fake-meat but this sausage patty was really good and I’m glad a tried it. The Taro Bun is good too, has a nice moist texture and a slight flavor to it.

I stumble out of bed, and make myself as presentable as possible, but I’m also not wasting the precious minutes it takes to walk to Passion Bakery Café and try something new for breakfast. Two days ago, it was a sticky bun.(Get here early cuz they go fast!) Today, the owner recommended the Jalapeño Mozerella Breakfast Eggwich. My favorite so far — all the breakfast goodness is nestled between two halves of a fresh baked Hawaiian roll. The staff is friendly, especially considering they’ve been up long before me, baking up a storm of other pastries I have yet to sample.(If they aren’t morning people, it doesn’t show. Everyone is preparing baked goods while grooving to Motown hits.) Heavenly scent, and heavenly taste… these guys do not disappoint.

Closest place for coffee by my aunt’s house. Opens early and just a quick walk to the beach. Coffee hit the spot and had a fresh croissant. The place smelled amazing because as early as I went everything was coming out the oven. People were nice and helpful. Worth the stop if you are looking for something tasty.

You may have a better experience if your expectations are realistic… fine if you want a muffin/sticky bun and a coffee. Anything past that and the stars start falling. Decent and pricey. Would not go out my way to eat here again. You can definitely do better. P. S. The sticky bun is nothing to rave about. Fine but not amazing.

Tasty treats, broad selection of pastries, decent service(not as friendly as most places we visited in the area, but by no means rude either. They just seemed really tired), somewhat expensive however and coffee is so-so per my husband. I got a blueberry fresh toast muffin and it was perfect and decadent; my husband got a ham and cheese croissant which he loved. We’d definitely return! Use the outside seating; inside is extremely hot and stuffy which is forgivable as it is a working bakery and all their baking happens right behind the display counter and register.

Favorite spot on Kauai to get breakfast! Can’t go wrong with anything here. Their jalapeño/egg and chorizo/potato/egg sandwiches are delicious with a chipotle aioli on sweet Hawaiian buns. If you like croissants and scones, do yourself a favor and get their crisscone! I’ve had the spinach/feta/kalamata olives and ham/cheddar crisscones, both so good. They also have this pastry similar to spanokopita, another good one to get. Now, this is the most important thing for you to do here — get the mac nut sticky buns! Sticky and sweet perfection!
