Unfortunately Grande’s closed at the Coconut Marketplace in October 2012. The sales girl told my wife they were going to transfer all the inventory to their Princeville store. No new store has moved in but the lady at the Hawaii Music Kiosk said a café is moving in.

While I didn’t find what I was looking for, they do still have a very nice selection. I was looking for a Tahitian pearl set in white gold and sadly they didn’t have that. They did have the gorgeous plumeria earrings in the Denny Wong collection which I was eyeing. But before I get into that, the jeweler that helped me explained why they(nor very many other places) would have what I was looking for on display(prices of gold in general) and also explained the difference of a Denny Wong piece. Basically it’s sterling silver but it’s been mixed with a bit of platinum in order to avoid tarnish which is why it’s a bit on the pricier side. Had I not found my pearl at another location, I would have definitely considered getting the plumeria earrings(they were gorgeous).

Nice selection of island inspired jewelry in the Coconut Marketplace. My eye hit upon a gecko bracelet, and it reminded me of the little animals in my time-share bathroom. Their prices were reasonable as well.
