I’ve only been here for lunch, however the service is horrible. The very basic bar food is not worth wasting my valuable time to come here. The owners are rude and don’t care about the service they provide so why should the cool or the wait staff care, right?
Basic ass bar food… basic ass staff. I cannot speak for the bar at night, however I will never know as I will never return here again. Out of the 5 times I’ve been here my order was wrong 3 times. I received no apologies, nothing.
The final time I visited, I called my order in along with 4 other orders because they usually take 30 minutes or more to get your order out even though there are usually no other customers in the place… well this time my coworkers received their food on time yet my boyfriend and I did not. After asking the waitress about it, which she couldn’t even answer the question… like seriously, she had no response… she seemed as if she took too much Xanax before her shift started… SHE BROUGHT THE ORDER OUT INCORRECT… TWICE. Yep, we sent it back and about 5 minutes later she brought the same food out. AGAIN.
I asked for the manager/​owner. He never came out. We left. Fuck Tiger Tail.

Very relaxed vision of a bar the new bartender did all she could to make the experience the best would definitely visit for the service that she gave which made the experience of the bar itself for me.

It’s a cool little laid back bar, nice hole in the wall. Owners are good people. If you go make sure you put money in the jukebox as soon as you get there. Food is good, all in all a cool little spot.

This place is small, but it’s usually never packed, at least none of the times I’ve gone, so it is not a problem at all. I ate here once, I had the eggplant/​marinara/​parm dish and it was really good… not a generous portion, but not overly expensive either… nice if you want a light, healthy meal before you dive into unhealthy drinking. The beers are cheap. The guys who have worked the bar usually are cool. Nice place right on the outskirts of downtown/​city market… I will come back.

Easily the best neighborhood bar I’ve ever been to.
I live in the neighborhood, but just recently came in for the first time about a week ago with a couple friends. The place is pretty small, their bar holds maybe 12 – 15, with a handful of booths and tables and then 2 pool tables and some games in the back. It’s so cozy! Definitely has that dark dive bar vibe but without the dirty run-​down feel or staff with bad attitudes. The place is spotless — I know it’s fairly new (a year maybe? 2 years? Not sure) but they keep it pretty clean.
We sat at the bar, and were taken care of by Dionna… The sweetest friendliest bartender I think I’ve ever met! Very helpful, funny, and just a genuinely nice person.
We also came on a Tuesday, where they have their $ 1 ground beef tacos (which were very tasty) and along with happy hour, it’s such a cheap place to grab some drinks and food and just hang out. (Their menu is pretty small, wings and pizza, burgers etc)
Altogether I had a Boulevard Wheat and 3 tacos and my tab was $ 6. I was pretty happy.
They have probably 8 beers on tap, a decent selection of cans, bottles and liquor, and some big screen TVs if you’re trying to watch a game.
All in all it was such a refreshing experience. I can see coming here frequently for a drink or a bite or just for the good service and company. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

I got Lots of bang for my bucks, yummy on our previous visit we had the chicken wings &fries, my daughter had the plain ones I had Parmesan & Garlic they were delicious, I’m going go back for some more of this good food I thinking about teriyaki wings, pizza or my a philly cheese steak I thought I saw prime beef sandwich on the menu. I know I love this food and it portions this place has pool tables and well stocked bar for those who swerve can get their swerve on or shoot your shots. Entertainment, Enjoyment, and Eats.

A must try are the: Prime Rib Sandwich, Parmesean Chicken Wings, or Philly Cheesesteak your possibilities are endless.
My co-​workers and I ventured into this spot off of a recommendation… wow how our lunch break blossomed. The waitress Christina was more than polite and the food once ordered came out timely you can also call ahead.

Well, I decided to drop in to grab some grub to go since its right around the corner from work. I have to say, the patty melt was really good and I opted for an upcharge to get the Tiger Tots (shredded zuchinni/​carrots rolled into tots) served with white bean hummus. Those were quite good as well but wish there were more in a serving. (Not that I needed to eat more).
I think I’d like to come back and try the pork tacos next!

Had the pulled pork tacos n it knocked my socks off go for the food and cheap beer and leave with an entertaining story for Jordan. A well traveled trail blazers who has taken over the bones that used to inhabit a business that served Kansas City for several decades. Without places like this our city would lose its charm, rep your city… u won’t regret it! Oh, start with the Happy Hour the prices on beer is one of the cheapest in the city :)
