I work steps from this place, and it’s nice to have a cheap alternative to the Über Expensive Restaurant Selections downtown nowadays. I’ve been here a few times and every time has been a great experience. I have never had to wait longer than 5 – 10 minutes for my food to be made, and you can even customize to your liking pretty easily. I’ve had their Taco Salad(Usually on Thursdays) and today I had a cheese and egg croissant with orange juice for $ 3.90 can’t beat that, even cheaper than McD’s.

Breakfast was okay, only offered scrambled eggs and they were alright. Bacon was a let down. I’ve had lunch here too, the bacon cheeseburger. Frozen patty, no taste. Gross. It’s cheap but not worth the money.

Service was seriously slow, not to mention it could have possibly been the worst cheeseburger I’ve had in Kansas City, Missouri.

I came here because of the stellar Unilocal rating, but I was a little disappointed. My breakfast was decidedly mediocre. First, the positives. Breakfast was cheap(~$ 5 for an omelet and hash browns), fast, and the service was friendly. But it wasn’t that good. I’d say that I got about 4 or 5 unequivocally good bites of my omelet, where all of the fillings were present and in proportion to eachother. The rest of the omelet and the hash browns were rather bland. I got the impression that most of the food was pre-prepared, frozen food that was tossed on the griddle to heat up when some one ordered. I wouldn’t be surprised if the omelet was made with liquid eggs instead of fresh. I guess I might have gone in with unreasonable expectations. After all, my breakfast was $ 5. But I did expect more.

I only had the nachos there so I can’t speculate on much. Place was clean, simple and I’d go again if I happened to be in the area. Nachos were improved by adding the jalapeños n onions and asking for diced tomatoes. Seemed a bit lackluster but it was Super fast and they were polite!

Great, quick food. Pretty Cheap for the area. You will have your food by the time you fill your drink cup and sit down. Unfortunately, not open on the weekends or past 2:45 pm. I live close by and walk down here when I don’t want to make lunch for myself and it’s a great option for people working in the downtown area. Sandwich, fries, and a drink for around $ 8.00.

This place was awesome! I can’t believe I’ve lived downtown for 3 years and have never tried it! My boyfriend and I finally walked down the street to check this place out for breakfast. I got a western omellete and he had the biscuits and gravy. Both meals were awesome and super cheap. We could barely eat everything and the total was less than $ 11! Service is friendly too!

I can’t say enough great things about this place! Good food at a great price, but what makes it EXCELLENT is the customer service. Always friendly, always fast, & an uncanny ability to remember customer names! Has the feel of a small town local diner, would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite! Enjoy!

Decent food, properly prepared for a reasonable price. Good for breakfast of lunch. Middle of the road choices, very nice staff. Quick & consistent.
