First time here arrived around 2:30 tried the famous strudel. Not impressed. However when it is fresh it’s prob amazing. So if you try the baked goods do it in the morning.

Real attitude from the owner. «We only served BAKED foods, fried food is bad for you!»

Small bakery very classic look. Young girl behind the counter was very nice. I arrived at 1 PM. They serve a small lunch menu. Ordered a BLT. Requested to have an over easy egg on top of it. The cook comes out of the back and informs me this is not possible. When I asked why she replied hastily «because it would make a mess and dirty up the pan» and that «they are a small family owned business and eggs are served for breakfast.»

Intimate dining area so plan on getting the carry out at busy times. Everything looked great but got their signature cinnamon roll & pecan roll. It’s the ultimate pecan roll for my husband. Praline-​type topping focused on the pecan flavor rather than overly tooth-​killing sweet & gooey filling like a Cinnabon roll. Loved it. They have other homemade take-​home selections like banana bread in a jar, butters (Apple & pumpkin) & a cinnamon applesauce. My husband insists we will be back to try their other selections & I agree. Don’t go off their website list as everyday options. I was hoping to pick up a Krispy but didn’t have them out at this time. Lunch menu options too. Small family oriented operation that deserves regular business.
