Love the staff and owner! She is a doll and prices are fair! They also offer wine (free) when you come in. What is better than that?! It may be boxed wine, but it is delicious while you’re there! They do a wonderful and they are super clean! I am getting married soon and I was interested in the options to have your bridal shower there! The owner allows them to byob and it lasts from 6−10pm. Great options!

I love it here. Heidi does an amazing job on my nails, during my manicure she massaged my hands which after a long week of typing just made my day. Heidi also took care of waxing my brows she was meticulous in making sure they actually looked amazing and made sure they matched my face. I also got a pedicure that included an amazing foot and leg massage.

Absolutely adore this salon. Great value, excellent staff, and have a quality pedicure and manicure. My gel nails are always top notch and they have a large color selection and high quality polishes. They take their time and always make sure you are happy with you end nails. BONUS they serve free wine and generous refills. Heidi is the owner and is fabulous!

To update my review with answers to Heide:
I tech that worked on me was Ama. I had had her before and didn’t like the service when we called to make the appointment we said «No Ama, please» YOU sat me with her on purpose so that she could prove herself and do a better job, which she didn’t. This was sometime at the beginning of October.
What was wrong with the service was that the job done on my nails wasn’t a good job. It was a pedicure and my toes didn’t look good. The skills were not there. The nail polish was not smooth. The pedi was not a good pedi.
Thirdly, I dont know why you offered me a free nail painting but you did. I’m assuming you did it because you saw the work wasn’t up to par. I don’t know why YOU offered me the free service.
And while it may not take you an hour to paint nails, I did have to wait an additional hour for the nail painting and drying.
As for bashing your techs, you did. I’m not going to argue with you over it. But you did and it was uncool and I don’t want to go back to your salon for that reason and for the reason that the service was not good and for the message you posted.
Tammy is AMAZING! Always has been and if I went back to the salon I would go only to see her.

I come to Karma nails religiously every two weeks along with a few of my friends from work (super convenient to KU med!). I have always had a good experience — Heide and Tammy are great! They also care a lot about my satisfaction and they do a great job! Whenever I don’t like something, they make every effort to make it right so that I leave happy. My gel manicure typically lasts for a full 2 weeks and I’m pretty tough on my nails. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because sometimes the manis take a long time. I don’t personally mind bc I enjoy visiting with my friends and relaxing, but I try to avoid going on days when I have an appointment I can’t miss after — but that’s just part of planning your day. I frequently recommend these ladies to my friends and it’s definitely worth checking out if you don’t already have a fav nail salon in KC!
