I’m not even going to comment on the food because we all know what Jimmy John’s tastes like. Instead, I’m going to take you back to a cold December night… New Year’s Eve, to be exact. I was in KC for a bachelorette party celebrating the impending nuptials of my college roommate, Annie. We spent the evening at Power and Light and then headed back to our hotel where we promptly ran into a Jimmy John’s delivery guy in the elevator. Suddenly, nothing sounded better than a nice fat Italian Nightclub with a pickle and a bag of chips. Four of us from the group decided to order Jimmy John’s. Delivery time took forever(reasonable, given the fact that it was New Year’s Eve in a metropolitan area) but we were soon happily munching. I looked down at my cell phone, expecting a text back from a friend, to instead see that I have a missed call from an unknown KC number. I brush it off and keep eating. Suddenly, Annie notices that she has a missed call from the same number. Finally, the mystery number calls Melissa. It is Jimmy John’s, asking if any of us had found A GOLDTOOTHINOURSANDWICHBAGS. Apparently, the gentleman bagging said sandwiches had lost his. So there’s that. We were assured that there was no possibility of said tooth making it into our actual sandwiches, but we all lost our appetites. Were we offered any sort of refund? A free cookie, perhaps? Negative. We did, however, Google how much a gold tooth actually cost and all I have to say is: buddy, I really hope you found it.

Over and hour for delivery at my place of work. Will not deliver to my home(less than a mile away). Officially done with not only THIS Jimmy John’s but all Jimmy Johns.

The manager was respectful after one of his employees«accidentally» hung up on me for canceling my order, but it was only after waiting an hour and 40 minutes that I decided it was time to cancel. The lady taking the phone calls was rude and had an I don’t care attitude the entire time. The food is quality relative to its cost, but the service here is consistently poor. I would suggest dining in if it all possible. Now time to check with my bank everyday to make sure the money was put back into my account. :(

Called in a large order only to be met with attitude and rude customer service. This location will not be getting anymore business from me.

It’s unfortunate that this JJ’s chain is closest to my office because I want to go here for all the right reasons, but continue to get the stiff arm with poor service and mixed up orders. In a time crunch, I often place my orders online, run out of work down the street to this location and pick up my sandwich. Two times in the last month my order has not been ready(15 minutes after ordering) and once I received the wrong sandwich inside of a bag that clearly hadmy order stapled to it. A Vito unwich is not the same as turkey on a sub. Sigh… It appears I need to stop giving this location more chances to shine. I’ll travel a little longer to the location on Roanoke/Westport Rd where I have never had a mixed up order or time delay.

I like Jimmy John’s… Do not like this one. Slow service, ghetto help and inconsistent sandwiches are my reasoning. I asked for a few peppers once on a sandwich and they gave me a ridiculous amount on my sandwich that I had to pick off and should have thrown them at the guy who made it behind the counter. I’ve also had rock hard bread a few times. Not cool. Fix this location– please. The hobos at Walgreen’s and interesting people at the bus stop right at the corner make this an interesting place also.

Sandwiches were the same as every other Jimmy Johns. But the last 3 times we came here… 3 ppl working and it takes over 7 – 10 min for our sandwiches. Uh Hellerrr… You guys supposed to be fast! There was no one else there! We only ppl in drive through. Maybe I’m being too picky… But come on! Sandwiches were good though. I wonder how fast it takes to my house 3 blocks away. Lol

A trainwreck of a location at 39th and Broadway. Couldn’t get into the parking lot the first time because someone was coming out and didn’t want to share the entry/exit. Got in, Greeted with hollers. Cool music. Looked at the menu. Young lady at the register was very sweet. Ordered the turkey and bacon. Done in a flash! Sandwich is ok. A little pricey. I don’t think it’s any better than Subway or Mr. Goodcents but it is fast!
