Impact Fitness

I was a member of active family fitness but they closed with no notice. strangely all accounts were moved to this gym with no notice to members! so months went by and they kept billing and billing and billing…
Finally went to try it out since I had been paying for it. Very little cardio equipment, very small gym. Like previous reviewer said, focus is more on weights and becoming Hercules, which does NOT interest me.
Never went back. Finally had to schlep across town just to cancel! And they continued billing me anyway! What a scam! Avoid at all costs!

THIS IS MY GYM. I am a new member but I can already tell a difference. this is not your sissy pansy gym. if you are afraid of intimidating people working out, intimidated by big arms through sleeveless shirts and scared of random grunting noises in the gym, this isn’t the gym for you. I go to the Impact Elite & MMA gym. everyone here is here because they are dedicated to working out hard core. not just to spend an hour on the tread mill or stair master. everything from free weights and machines to sledge hammers, tractor tires and punching bags is here. they even have a section dedicated to MMA training and fighting. you can sign up for classes. great gym for those that really do and are really motivated to work out.

I worked out at the location in North Kansas City for around 7 months before I moved out of the area. The facility was very clean and the staff that worked at that location were very pleasant. I enjoyed my time at Impact Fitness and would recommend that location to any in the area looking for a place to work out.
