I’m a bit of a fabric hoarder which is odd since I can’t sew, HOWEVER! I do use yards of fabric for all kinds of things, the sewless curtain, seasonal tablecloths, capes, gluing it into chests of drawers to make them fancy. I touch every bolt of fabric I can find. So, I’m usually in there for hours. On this occasion I was looking for some pieces for my Halloween costume. I was sent there by a seamstress, she said, «they sew, they know.» She was right. Although there were only 3(ish) employees roaming the store, initially they all had contact with me. For the most part they were helpful even though I had to track them down twice. Then it came time to cut my fabric and I met my most fabulous fabric friend. He complimented my selections, took my measurements, offered some suggestions, agreed with me about the lack of sparkle in clothes in general and was all around my favorite person to interact with that day. Absolutely pushed my rating to 5 stars. Besides the selection and the prices at the store. I will make this a regular stop for fabric as Michael’s I think is closed and JoAnne’s is a bit of a jog.
