Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs

Food is good, staff is very friendly for walk in service. Don’t bother with delivery if you’re actually hungry. It is ridiculously slow.

I was extremely disappointed with the (lack of) service that I experienced when ordering online from this Mister Goodcents location. Having completed the registration process, selecting the menu items I wanted delivered, and then providing my debit card, my order was cancelled by the website after stating that my debit card was declined (despite the fact that there was funds in my checking account). I promptly checked my bank account and noticed that even though my order was cancelled, a charge was still placed — so now I was out the money (at least temporarily) and would not receive the food I ordered. I contacted the Mister Goodcents customer service line listed on the website, and they informed me that it was the fault of my bank; when I promptly contacted the bank they informed me that it was the fault of Mister Goodcents or their third-​party credit card processing vendor. The cost of the order was being held for at least one to two days out of my bank account and the order would not be fulfilled. When I again contacted the Mister Goodcents customer service line, they informed me that the problem could be in the transmission of the order (in other words «a problem with their system», and basically I would have to work it out with the bank to have the cost of the order refunded).
I find this to be an outrageous business practice — they inappropriately declined my debit card, yet still completed the transaction enough to have the money held out of my account. I received no food, and due to their processing errors am left to fight their charge on my account with my bank. I wasted at least 30 minutes trying to straighten this situation out. They have turned what was supposed to be a seamless, easy transaction into a complete failure.
I will not be ordering from Mister Goodcents again. Fortunately, a nearby competitor also delivers subs timely and can manage to accept my debit card payment online without any hassles.

I like sandwiches a lot, enough said. I have tried a lot of sandwiches in my day and by far this has some pretty great subs. There is an amazing amount of different types and they also have some pretty awesome pasta dishes as well! So there is something for everyone; and some pretty killer cookies and brownies that are made fresh as well.
I also believe that customer service is a pretty big factor into an experience. The whole staff is so helpful and nice, my job is located fairly close to this location and they know my name and greet me every time I stop by. To say I am impressed by this place is an understatement.

This place is freaking good. Is it fine dining? No. But that’s not it’s purpose. The folks working there are your standard sub-​shop-​type of employees (college age, a couple of older folks looking to make ends meet I guess) but they all have good attitudes and seem to like working there and serving us.
The portions are not skimpy but appropriate. The place is clean and every time we are there the manager grins and asks us in a big, hoarse voice, «How you doin’ guy?» My wife and I love little touches like that.
Lots of specials and discounts on the weekend for meals. It’s not loaded with greasy fatty foods either.

What more can you ask from a business?
