This company is composed of a bunch of unprofessional people, including their manager Bill as well as their workers. They broke my bed and assured me that they will either fix it or replace it. They did neither of them and left me on the floor for so many days. Eventually, I ended up getting a bed frame as an alternative and had them come back and arrange it for me. They never even paid the money that I was supposed to get after sending the claim form. I got tired of reaching out to them but they won’t get tired of telling lies. I would recommend paying a little more and hiring better professionals.

This was my first time using movers, and I’d recommend Aardvark Moving. Nathan, Jeremy, and Joe were speedy and professional. They moved my 2 bedroom house in an hour and a half. Granted, I had already moved a crap ton of small stuff already, but it was super fast nonetheless! I would recommend that if you have a firm time in which you need their services, make sure you explicitly state that. Despite calling to confirm the time in advance, they were late, but I was flexible on time. To be honest, it was pouring at my original time, so it worked out in the long run!

Cost more to replace stolen/damaged items than to move. I’ve used Aardvark for a previous move and even recommended them to my friend who had no issues, but with my move on 11÷30÷15 the entire experience was horrible from start to finish. 1. They arrived late even though I called and spoke with the manager several times in advance about the move in window at my apartment 2. They didn’t arrive with the extra closet boxes I paid for(and you have to return all the closet boxes, even though I paid for them) 3. They don’t protect any of your furniture so they broke the mirror front of my nightstand 4. They broke the leg on my arm chair 5. They STOLE my Sonos Play 5 speaker($ 499) and delivered an EMPTY box for me to find 6. I was asked to pay more than my «Not to Exceed» quote It’s crazy that your property can be stolen during a move and there is practically nothing that can be done about it. I’ve been working with the police and Sonos to no avail. They did help move an item that was not listed in my inventory and I even gave them a TV stand and tipped 20%. The management is not able to do much of anything and there is just no help for stolen items. I will never use or recommend them again.

I had great experiences using aardvark twice. They showed up to move my 88 year old grandma when all my sons bailed just an hour before our planned moving time. They also moved my 3 bedroom house quickly and under the original estimate! The guys are very nice and moved us in the rain without getting anything wet.

I used ardvark for a small 1 bedroom apartment move last month. They moved me from the plaza to a southern suburb in about 3 hours Pros: –I was pleased with the pace the movers worked –arrived on time –cheaper than most companies and they provided a maximum rate which most companies do not provide –the lead mover was professional Cons: –they were rough with my things. 1 mover stacked 3 boxes up and then dropped them and the boxes spilled open. They were also dropped my white headboard and it has scuff marks all over it. –took smoke breaks –used my restroom, didn’t flush, left the toilet seat up Overall my experience with this company was average and I’m not sure I would use them again.

Used them 2 times in 10 days. The first crew was fast and polite. I gave them a 25 dollar tip each. The second big move was 4 men took longer with only 3 things added. They asked for tips right out of the truck. They were slow and broke the leg of off my 100 year old Buffett. I watched the other men unload it. But with this group I let them go to unit and load them self’s. BADMISTAKE !!! They took 2 extra hours playing around and broke my stuff. They dropped boxes off in the garage so they didn’t have to carry to the rooms… NEVERAGAIN… Pretty trashy looking men the second time and I asked for the same people again… Bad customer service… NEVERAGAIN… I had a box of pictures and they broke the whole box. They were 2 hours late also. We had no where to set and wait…

Had an appointment for them to move my fiancé and me to our new place this morning. A week ago they dropped off green tubs for us to use and said they would see us in a week. They were supposed to show up between 8 and 9. It is now 11:15 and they are not here and are not answering their phones. Good thing we were able to find a reputable company who is helping us out tomorrow morning! Guess we’re keeping those green tubs now!

Damage-Free is a load of crap. I hired them to move my belongs from my apartment to a house I was renting. The previous tenant hadn’t moved out yet, but agreed that I could move my things in a day early. The movers ripped open the previous tenant’s exercise ball, and Christine told me she would send me a damage claim form and that a print out of the cost of a replacement or a receipt for the purchase of a replacement would be sufficient documentation, along with a picture of the damage. I took pictures and bought the new tenant a new ball from Walmart for $ 20. Chrstine never sent the damage form, despite me sending two additional emails asking her to do so. When I called to speak with her, I was told that I needed to send in a repair estimate — a repair estimate for an exercise ball? Are you kidding me? When I reminded her that she told me I could give them a receipt or printout of the cost of a replacement, she said, «Ok. But how much does it weigh? If it’s less than 5 pounds, the most the insurance will pay is $ 3. We can give the the $ 3 now if you want to come get it. That’s the contract you signed.» So you want me to drive to Blue Springs, from KCMO, to pick up $ 3, when YOUALLARETHEONESTHATDIDTHEDAMAGEANDOWEME $ 20? I don’t think so. Stay away from these people. They are shady. I wouldn’t recommend them. Put your money toward a reputable company that will pay for whatever damage THEYCAUSE.

Don’t every use them. They have an amazing sales pitch, but its all b***s***. They showed up 6 hours later, then the guy put a whole bunch of stains on out very expensive mattress. I asked him to put a mattress cover on it and he said they don’t have one. It seem like they were getting more money from another move so they decided to neglect our move. The only reason we hired them was because I am pregnant and we have a bed that needs disassembly and assembly. BUT it was a really bad experience. ABOVEALLTHEGUYCANCELLEDONUSAFTERTHEIRMENTOOKHALFOURBOXESONTOTETRUCK. HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!!
