Love the live music and Farm Eggs!

This is one of my favorite Farmers Markets, and I am sad that this Wendsday will be the last of the season.
The market runs every Wendsday from 5 – 8 from May to the beginning of October. Unfortunately this summer I was only able to go twice, but it was great. Local sustainably grown veggies, meats and other local treats. Sometimes there is live music or other activities – both times this year there was no music, but I know last year they had several local bands playing.
I always buy a few fresh veggies and try to support several different booths. It is kind of cheesy, but leaving the farmers market always makes me feel closer to my community. It is so important to support local growers and also healthier to know my favorite sweet corn is not full of icky pesticides!
Try to make it this October 8th, but if not look for the Organic Community market next spring.
