I couldn’t believe this happened today! I am extremely afraid of heights, but my husband knew this is something we always thought about doing.
Brad and Cody, a super adorable father and son team, make you feel so comfortable. They have such amazing energy!
Their whole team is great, Melissa (office manager) and Larry (pilot) add an extra charm to their company.
I highly recommend Skydive Greater!

You will LOVE this. Trust me. I surprised the hubby with a ticket to push him out of a plane with Brad strapped to his back and he could not stop smiling during the whole experience. The entire crew was very professional and put the rest of us bystanders at ease that he would be returned to us in one piece. He opted for the video package and it was beautifully done. He loved showing it repeatedly to anyone that would watch. I wish I had the nerve to try this too! Thanks Brad & crew!

Love this place!
As a fun jumper this is one Cessna DZ that goes all the way. The standard ticket is to 12 500 with a couple of very fast and very well taken care of C182’s. Small DZ vibe with the fun of a large DZ.
If you are a fun jumper you have to go there to understand how nice this place is and how the DZO bends over backwards to get fun jumpers in the air.
If you are a 1^st time jumper the attention you get here will be second to none. If you decide that you want to become a skydiver they have all the instructors and gear needed to take you from 1^st jump to licensed.

One word… AMAZING!
Like most people, this was my first time skydiving and I couldn’t have chosen a better place than Skydiver Greater!
All the instructors there were awesome! They were so friendly, and made my experience something I will never forget.
Did a tandem jump with my man Kenny! Couldn’t have asked for a better person to jump with.
Highly recommend to check this place out!

My first time skydiving and it went very well. I was nervous at the beginning but when we went up i had a feeling that nobody ever can explain you unless you experience it yourself. I want to go back to the same place again and do it again and again. You have to be so experienced to make somebody feel safe and under control; and we trusted our lives to Brad and Kenny :) and they showed us the world from a different side. thank you team for the experience you gave all 7 of us :)))))

I only use Unilocal to tell people to either stay away or go to a place (it’s why I have very few reviews), and YOU MUST GO to Sky Dive Greater!
Bottom Line: If you are looking for a place that is going to make your experience feel as special as possible for you, then go to Sky Dive Greater. Brad, the jump instructor, has over 12,000 jumps under his belt, and you definitely see the attention to detail he places on keeping you relaxed and safe, while making sure you have an amazing time. Given the quality of the service and the high-​resolution videos /​pictures I received, the pricing is extremely reasonable. If you are debating between pictures or a video, spring for the video with a secondary camera man; IT’S WORTH IT! They also offered me $ 30.00 off my next skydive with them (more than a15% discount). I can’t wait to go back!
Experience /​Service: This was my second time skydiving, and it was much better than my first jump at another location. My girlfriend and I were offered snacks and bottled water both before and after the jump. Brad takes the time to expertly walk you through all the important safety features of the jump gear, and by the end you feel very comfortable with the idea of jumping out of a plane. :)
Product: Great videos and pictures; very high quality! After our jumps were finished, Sky Dive Greater made a very cool video of both my and my girlfriend’s jumps. The video has fun background music and the footage is from before, during, and after the jump. They let us watch the videos right there, and then put it on two 4GB SD disks to take home.
Pricing: I paid around $ 560 for 2 jumps. It included 2 angles of my girlfriend’s jump (hand mounted view from Brad, and a video from a secondary jumper filming my GF’s fall). My jump had only angle (I foolishly thought I would only want photos, so no second camera man for me), but it was still a cool video and worth the money.
Large Vs. Smaller Operations: My first jump (NOT with Sky Dive Greater) was with a larger skydiving operation. Since I was only one of around 80+ jumps scheduled for that day, it made feel like I was just the next customer they needed to deal with. They didn’t even take the time to learn my name. Sky Dive Greater, on the other hand, made me feel like we had been friends for years. I can’t say enough about how great it was to meet them.

Tip 1: It is the closest sky diving center to Chicago. On a Saturday afternoon it took us about 50 min to get there from Lakeview with a little bit of traffic, and that was mostly in the city.
Tip 2: When I plugged the address into Google maps it got me 95% of the way there. It actually sent me down a dead end road, but a quick call to Sky Dive Greater got us there ~3 minutes later.

This was the coolest thing I’ve ever done. I loved every second of the experience. Brad & co make you feel like family the second you walk in. I can’t wait to come back and do it again! Best way to celebrate my birthday!

We went to Skydive Greater for my brother in laws first tandem jump. It was a great experience. The staff there was professional and made the whole experience awesome. Highly recommend using these guys. Purchase the photo and video package. It’s well worth it!
