So the young girl saw us waiting & she just kept sweeping in the back! No «Hello» or nothing! After a minute or so she came by us with attitude and asked my boyfriend what he wanted. She made his sandwich(luckily I ate somewhere else) & while he and our 6 year old son ate it they were both complaining that it was soggy! My boyfriend asked for light vinegar & she soaked it! Don’t ever eat here! Worst subway sandwich we’ve ever had. Bad costumer service too. Waste money. I should’ve got my money back but I was too afraid I was gonna do more than just get my money back.

Sunday 9⁄27 about lunchtime. Young haole girl with glasses, seemed nice. Hah! She made my sandwich — ordered one of the simple 6 lunch meals and my son ordered a flatizza. Everything was going ok until I paid. My son said«gee, so much for a meal.» I looked and asked the girl what happened to my meal? She said«Oh, I asked you if you wanted it and you said no.» She also said that some people change their minds and I gave her the look of «what?!» I’m thinking, what does that have to do with me? My reply«I ordered one of the simple 6.» All she asked me before ringing me up was if I wanted anything else, twice. No mention of a me not wanting the meal whatsoever. This review would not have been done had her demeanor been sincere. She was laced with sarcasm and her apology was at best hollow. Telling me «oh, I made a mistake.» Hollow. No sincerity at all. Then she wanted to charge me extra for the chips and soda — No Thank You. Service comes with a price, you either do well or find another job. I believe she needs to find another job and not in the service industry!

I’ve never had any issues with subway before, but I just took my daughter there and I was charged almost $ 7 for her kids meal! The foot-long is $ 6, so what could possibly cost them that much? Never again… the subway across the street sells the same kids meal for $ 4. Too bad I didn’t look at the menu before I ordered, and once I did and they rang me up it was too late to cancel. Booooo to this franchise owner, who also owns BullKogi in the food court.

I can’t believe I’m writing a review for Subway… but my experience was annoying enough to prompt me to do it. This review is for this particular branch — I always enjoy the food at Subway so that is not my issue. We were there today – the mall was super crowded, but the line at Subway had only 4 customers. I counted 4 workers behind the counter so odds were good this would be a quick trip. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Almost 20 minutes from the time I got in line until the time I paid. 20! How is this possible? Slowest service ever! And my cookie was burnt. But I won’t blame Subway for that. I assume that was the universe telling me I shouldn’t be eating a cookie.

This is the new Subway at the newly remodeled food court at Windward Mall in Kaneohe. Can’t believe that it hasn’t been reviewed yet. I’ve already eaten here 4 or 5 times. So here goes. First I have to admit that I have never had a Subway Sandwich anywhere that I didn’t enjoy. This one is set up for fairly high volume with an extra long counter and enough staff to get the sandwiches made quickly. The secret is to get what you like and leave off what you don’t. Each sandwich is custom made just for you. What I especially like is that it has a vegetarian/vegan option. I chose the foot long«veggie delight»… left off the cheese… no mayo and fat free mustard honey dressing on a whole wheat multi grain bun. Great flavor and a huge sandwich with only about 450 calories and lots of nutrition and complex carbohydrates and very few fat grams. My daughter had a toasted buffalo chicken sandwich that she liked. Not too spicy but lots of sauce dripping off. What I especially appreciate is that they have an unsweetened iced tea option with no sugar added, in addition to the usual drinks. Really big sandwich, small price and very healthy food. Cash only.
