James B. Castle High School

What can I say, it’s my alma mater…
On the real, it is a public school SO the campus isn’t exactly Kamehameha School status, and we unfortunately don’t have a pond or anything on our campus. (We do have a farm though for the Agriculture class!). We also have one of the best performing arts for public schools. Castle has the nice Ron Bright Auditorium. It holds Castle plays AND Castle Dance Concerts.
Parking is a bit tight near the auditorium. If you can, I would recommend someone drop you off if you’re going to see a play or a dance concert. Castle is located near residential areas, so you could park your car there and walk a bit to the auditorium. When there are football games, the back parking lot can get full. But again, there are places to park in the residential area. I wouldn’t advise parking at Windward City because you could get towed.

I would get lost and intimidated every time I went here for volleyball club practices. Their gym is pretty nice. It’s not as hot as I thought it would be. They also have a lot of performances at their theater. It’s kind of confusing walking from parking lot to parking lot, so you really have to know where you’re going. Their weight room is kind of old and beat up, but it gets the job done.
