Unfortunately, I have to echo what others have said about Norman Camera using Amazon. BEWARE! I purchased an item that was mis advertised as working on Sony cameras. It did not work on mine(Sony A7ii) so I requested a return. First, I was told I would have to wait to see if Norman Camera would even approve my return(which I found insulting considering they were responsible for the mis advertising) but then they informed me they would not pay for the return shipping AND they would not accept it if I did not return it with insurance and a return receipt. These requirements cost me $ 15.05(for a $ 95 item). Of course, I will not purchase anything from Norman Camera again, and I caution anyone, only purchase from them if you know for certain you will not need to return anything(or have to deal with customer service at all)!

Never buy from this buyer at Amazon, they advertise false things and when you want to send them back, they ask you for the broken plastic that you had to open to see it!!! So I sent a case for a camera falsely advertised for my model, of course I didn’t use it because it was for other model, I paid the shipment(12) and told me that I had to send the broken plastic for them to reimburse as a new product. Long story short, I paid 50 for the case, I paid 12 for the shipping, they wanted me to pay another 12 for the broken plastic and finally they told me that they will reimburse me as a USEDPRODUCT. Total unethical seller.

A nice clean little store with decent parking — Norman in Kalamazoo is probably the best resource for photographers in West Michigan. This store has folks that seem to know what they are talking about, and will give you decent advice.(Of course, with any company, they want you to buy from them, so do your homework!) Talk to Randy — he knows his stuff and treats customers right.

Chuck C. is right. Never buy from this company on Amazon. They shipped me photo paper that was damaged, gave me the run around about returning it, and now they’ve completely stopped responding to my emails. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. Not to mention, I had a show the week I received the damaged paper from them. I called and emailed them only to hear from them 3 days after on the day of the show… It’s been 2 months and still haven’t gotten my money back. Thanks guys, great service. Will never buy from again and will do my best to get them off of Amazon.

What a great photography source in Western Michigan. I’ll usually buy items here that are expendable for field and studio work. Seamless Paper, Reflectors and the such. I would tell anyone getting into photography or purchasing equipment that this place has very good employees that can help describe product features and benefits. A great alternative to the Blue Box storre. They have pricing that is comparable to what you would pay for items online most of the time.
