I was a former pizza hut customer but changed to papa johns because of the light flavor and less oily pizzas. However, I had a function at an elementary school and also ordered a pizza for home. Well, I get a call from my daughter that she found something in the pizza which looked like cardboard or napkin. She sent me a picture which got me concerned so I went home. Upon arrival I looked at the alien object and opened it up to see that it was a piece of a brown paper towel. My 3 year old grandson could’ve choked on it. What’s worse is why and where did it come from. That’s reall gross because someone could’ve wiped their hands after using the toilet or blow their nose on it. Who knows what kind of germs or bacteria was in there? What if my daughter or grandson gets ill??? They originally offered me a discounted pizza. Are you kidding? Then reimbursed me 1 pizza!!! Do you think I feel like pizza after this??? What do you think I should do? I gave it 1 star because I cant give no stars. Robert

Papa Johns specials are the worst. When you get a special medium at Pizza Hut, you get the regular medium at a discounted price, but not at Papa Johns. When you buy the special at Papa Johns, you get less ingredients and lower quality overall. So you are not getting a DEAL, YOUAREGETTING A DOWNGRADEDPIZZATHATREFLECTSTHEPRICEYOUPAYFOR. I bought special large for $ 10.99 about eight years ago, I was so dang disappointed that I never went back. There was not a Pizza Hut around where we were in Pearl City one night, so we ordered from Papa Johns, the two medium, two toppings, for $ 19.00. YUCK! There was hardly any cheese on it, the toppings were very sparse, and it was mostly just bread. And their medium is SODAMNSMALL! Go to Pizza Hut, don’t go to Papa Johns. Honestly, I don’t see how they stay in business. Papa Johns is like the Cal Worthington car dealership in California, they don’t have repeat customers, but they advertise like crazy to catch new customers.

It’s Papa John’s. So it’s just OK. But I can walk there, which counts for something. Good service at this location, always nice and have my pizza ready.

My son ordered a Mother’s Day Special yesterday. It comes with a heart shaped pizza, cookie(papa johns cookie) and a rose! I really loved it! I think you can only order a heart pizza on those kind of days, such as valentines and Mother’s Day. I highly recommend you to get it!

I love papa johns pizza BUT the prices are out of controls. Saturday for lunch we ordered 2 medium pizzas(one cheese and one with 3 toppings) $ 40 … Say what!!! Then the lovely manager tells me it’s cheaper to get 2 large pizzas same toppings at half the price!?! Huh??? How is this correct??? Papa johns get with it! The prices has to change!!!

well, same shit different day(see my previous review) we saw their sign waver out on the street advertising large pizza one topping $ 9.99. My niece got excited. I still felt like we overpaid, after I tasted it. DON’T GETTHETHINCRUST. It basically just tasted like a frozen pizza. And you can get a good frozen pizza, same size, for less than $ 9.99. The label on ours says this is actually a $ 22.98 pizza that we got a $ 12.98 discount on. Uggh. Papa John’s is clearly a marketing company not a food company. Even when I called in the order I was deluged by a variety of daily specials… none of which was what their sign waver was offering on the street. I had to ask for that one. Then the pizza box comes loaded with dozens of other promotional offers. And when you’re in the place, more confusing promotional offers, including a 50⁄50 card where if you’re over 50 you get your pizzas for ½ price. Another card you buy for $ 10 then when you buy a full priced pizza you get another pizza free. Even with all the discounts, it’s still too expensive for what it is, you can do better in the freezer section of your local supermarket. I guess that’s how they’re making money.
