The food was delicious and the decaf coffee was flavorful and plentiful. If I make it back to Kona sometime in the future I will definitely return!

I had the fish and chips — tender fish, delicious. My son had the cowboy burger — huge. My daughter’s had fish tacos and french dip. They loved them. All the food was very good but the garlic parmesian fries weren’t that great. They were very mild tasting, not much different than reg. Fries. The onion rings, on the other hand, we’re terrific.

The view, very, very good. The happy hour prices on beer, decent, $ 2 off. The happy hour pupu’s, decent but not the best I’ve seen. Bartenders, personable and regularly checks on you. We’ve gone a few times during our stay and will be going back for the view and the reasonable priced happy hour beer prices.

Way overpriced, menu needs to be updated and happy hour prices need to be correctly applied. the harbor view was the best part of eating here. service was o. k too. Went there with wife last week for dinner and happy hour. No calamari available now or in future(as told by the server) even though it is on menu. Ordered the fish sandwich and vegetables in teriyaki sauce with rice. fish sandwich was o. k and the vegetables teriyaki was downright flavorless and way overpriced for the small portion. there are far better places to eat around here at this price point. so we have no intention of going back.

About twenty craft beers on tap! $ 5 Mai Tais, always. Staff was super friendly. View is one of the best in town, which is what drew me in. But the food is borderline unacceptable. Meat on the $ 13.95 smoked pork sandwich was very hard and dry. Something I would expect as leftovers at home reheated a couple days after the fact. Caesar salad with shrimp was grilled, but wilted, and had to be returned for a more traditional preparation(which the restaurant gladly accommodated). I recommend stopping by for a couple of craft brews during happy hour and then moving on for dinner and dessert.

Before you head out on your snorkeling tour make sure you fuel up at paradise brewing co. Best view in town, nice breeze and cool vibe. We ordered the paradise burrito(Best breakfast burrito ever!!!) and our server, Marissa, was amazing!

Mediocre food with a great view. Has the $ 13 banana foster waffle, no sides included. I was only able to eat ¼ of it, way to sweet. The server noticed I didn’t hardly touch it and still included it on the bill. Hubby had the chicken and biscuits, he ate most of it and liked it. $ 4 Bloody Mary was decent. Iced coffee was very watery. Will try somewhere else next time we are in this area.

We had a great view of the ocean while having a light lunch. The pork in my lettuce wraps was the best I had on the island, including the luau we went to. The chicken strips looks over-cooked, but were actually perfect. The breading was well seasoning & the chicken was moist and tender. The food alone would have gotten five stars; for bar food it was tasty & reasonably priced. The bartender was our waiter & seemed like he’d rather be doing something else. He was snide about questions on their beers they brewed there. Plus he openly shamed a couple of guys interested in blended drinks, suggesting only women order them. At least he left us largely alone, as he was doing nothing but standing behind the bar.

Great ambience and location! Perfect place if you’re looking for some respite from wandering around Kona in the hot sun. Covered 2nd floor patio overlooking Ali’i Drive and Kailua Bay with a plethora of beers on tap. We were there on a Sunday(same day as the street festival) and they had what I would probably consider the best live music anywhere on the Big Island. Slightly better than average bar food and a solid list(mostly local) of beers. Only complaint is they call themselves a brewery, but they only had ONE of their own beers on the menu — and they told me I couldn’t even order it because it had gone bad. Bummer.

Not worth it. The only thing I liked about this place was the live music, but you could go to a much better bar that also has music. Both bartenders I talked to were very rude and provided very poor service. I ordered food from one bartender and he made a comment about not wanting to make it for me, so I had to order from the other bartender who also made a comment that I should be ordering drinks not food because he is the one that would have to go make it. You’re supposed to make your customer feel welcomed, not like they are a burden. Definitely will not be coming back here.

The absolute driest fish taco. The tortilla was like eating cardboard. The Ono wasn’t so ono, way over cooked. Nice view.

Tampered with my bill and charged me extra tip!!! DONOTGOHERE. Waited 45 minutes for shitty, over-priced, small-portioned food. Service was terrible. Ordered«Traditions» in Paradise(eggs Benedict) and bf ordered pancakes. I wish we went to McDonalds instead. Would’ve saved time money and had a filling meal with better service.

Poor management. Owner sits around drinking all day while his dog is locked in the office.

Don’t use the ketchup! It will blow up in your face and the person sitting next to you. This is caused from refilling bottles which produces gasses that will explode. Too cheap to buy new bottles i guess. Needless to say no one finished their meal. I see another bad review for the same day we were there 1÷20÷16. Do yourself a favor and just keep on walking.

My boyfriend and I had a full day of snorkeling and beach time. We were tired and thirsty. We noticed earlier in the day the signs for this place indicating happy hour from 3−6pm. This sign peaked our curiosity and we decided to check it out. For one thing, this place is seat yourself which I’m always a big fan of at restaurants. They also have amazing outdoor seating with a real beautiful view of the water. We came for the later end of happy hour which is perfect since the sky had a beautiful glow as the sun was setting. Happy hour specials: $ 2 off all draft beers $ 2 off appetizers(the onion rings smelled amazing) Other specials: $ 5 Mai tais all day I actually just ended up getting caramel iced coffee. Which was great! Highly recommend. The only weird thing about this place is they call them self«paradise brewing company» but they only brew one beer. What’s up with that? However, we preferred this place to Splashers next door. Great view of the water and better prices. Awesome time!

Great location, great views of the ocean, but wow this was hands down the worst place we visited while on the Big Island. I love joints with live music and I know music is a matter of opinion, but I wasn’t a fan of watching three senior citizens attempting to play rock and blues music. It didn’t feel like a Hawaii’n hotspot, it felt like a talent show at a retirement community. We ordered some pupu’s(appetizers), including the guac and chips, and the ‘heaping’ pile of parmesan fries. The guacamole was bland, even after adding more salt. No lime, no tomatoes, no onions, no flavor. The ‘heaping’ pile of parmesan fries was barely enough for two of us, let alone a party of 10(we ordered 2 servings). We did get some free onion rings because they messed up and brought us someone else’s order(which of course speaks to the level of competency in the staff). Our waitress was either new, or she just wasn’t very bright. We asked a few times what was in certain drinks, what came with certain dishes, and she seemed like a deer caught in the headlights. Maybe she was mesmerized by the luau performance across the street? One of our party members received her Big Island Fish Sandwich, took a bite, and slowly pulled a plastic twist tie out of her mouth. Delicious! For some reason she didn’t want to continue eating her sandwich, so she ordered the fish and chips instead. When it was time for the bill, they couldn’t even comp her $ 13 meal on a $ 300 bill. Maybe the restaurant was struggling and needed the cash? The $ 15 pineapple drink was watered down with little to no alcohol inside of a whole pineapple. I guess we ordered them ‘virgin’. On the positive, the beers were pretty good, but you hope that it would be since this was a brewery. Some of the meals were decent, the fish and chips, the burger with real crab on top, and the ono fish tacos were all pretty good. Again, the view was great from our seats and of course it’s Hawaii, so how bad can it really be? Pretty bad it seems.

Great breakfast! Highly recommend the Irish coffee. Sharon is super nice. Terrific place all around, and obviously amazing view! I had the fried chicken and biscuits /gravy. Very good. Wife got eggs benedict, says it’s as good as she’s had anywhere.

Great views, was lucky enough to snag the front row balcony seat. Was pretty skeptical to eat here given it’s location right central in Kailua kona town; overpriced, low quality, tourist traps are all to common a tale. This place was not bad, great local beer selection, maitai was surprisingly good too, reasonably priced. Food however was very meh, which is saying something since I was starving when I sat down. I ordered the fish tacos, bf had pulled pork sliders and side onion rings. All items which came recommended by our server. Fish tasted fresh but everything else about it(slaw, salsa) was so meh, not to mention manini!(Translation: tiny). Everything just needed flavor! The onion rings were a «cold» mess. It looked like a crumbled mess that resembled onion rings. Server was good though, view made food worth it for sure, won’t be back unless for drinks though, 5 $ maitai HH :)

Great place to eat breakfast, portions are big and the price is good too. Awesome location, near the beach and waterfront view. Music is not island music but is relax like, nothing to noisy just perfect to enjoy a meal. Strawberry smoothie wasnt the best, tasted like powder kind of smoothie. I will come back again to this place.
