Best Coffee on the big island. Skilled baristas and 100 percent Kona Coffee forms a winning combination. I had a couple of Lattés and they were excellent. The latte art was different in each mug. I would frequent this place if I lived here.

We stopped in at Kona Coffee and Tea Company twice during our last two days in Kailua-Kona, and if we’d have more time, a visit here probably would’ve become a daily ritual. Both my boyfriend and I LOVED the coffee. I really cannot say enough about the tastiness of the espresso beverages. I tried a cappuccino and a latte; he had a latte both times, as well as an acai bowl, which contained delicious Greek yogurt. I also bought some of their little 2 oz coffee bags to take home as gifts. I was so happy to find these in a size that could actually fit into my suitcase, and there were a number of different roasts and flavors to choose from. The first time around, we got our coffees to go, but during the second day we sat outside on the lanai and it was weather(of course– we were in Hawaii). Just had to mention the perfect weather part as I’m about to go outside and bask in the 21°F air temp.

Super yummy delicious Kona coffee at reasonable prices. They also have some yummy treats. Plus it’s such a cute place. What’s not to love? We went twice during our long weekend stay in Kailua. Loved it!

The best hazelnut latte I’ve ever had! Great service and friendly staff. Wish I wasn’t leaving the island today or I would definitely come again!

I like their coffee and their stuff is friendly, it could be a 5-star place, but their AC is just blowing my mind, literally. It’s too sad, because the place has sliding glass doors and instead of just opening them and letting some fresh air in, their AC keeps wasting energy all day long at an unhealthy temperature level. Not sure how long it takes until we find out that ACs are causing sinus infection, back pain, headache, and many other everyday issues, nobody seems to know where they come from. They have some outdoor seating, buch is not so comfy, but it’s ok and an acceptable«shelter» from the north pole feeling inside.

Fantastic. Excellent Kona coffee, good baked goods, usually friendly service. Iced Kona is especially great, kinda chocolatey. Easy parking. Two thumbs up.

Overall a great place, I had the everything bagel with salmon cream cheese spread and it was delicious. Definitely wasn’t a Costco bagel, which is a staple at most coffee shops here. The atmosphere is also one of 2 coffee shops in Kona that is actually enjoyable, second only to Daylight Mind. Employees are always friendly and very quick to help. Not rating it super high because my lattes never come out quite the way I hope. kind of burnt with a bitter aftertaste. Might be the coffee they use, might be the way they grind the beans or it could be how they’re pulling the shots. But I’m an extreme coffee snob. I’ve never found lattes here quite like they make them in the pacific northwest!

Thus far one of my favorite coffee places in Kona aside from the huge chains. Even their drip is superbly delicious. Centrally located next to two grocery stores(same complex and one across the street), post office and Long’s Drug Store. Can’t wait to go back!

I love the iced kona coffee. it’s the most amazing iced coffee, i could drink it everyday. the staff is usually super happy and helpful. The baked items and pastries are not great. I have tried a few different items on a few different occasions, coffee cake, bagels, cookies… all just not worth the calories or the spending of my hard earned money. EXCEPTFOR, their scones! they are so good! a little expensive for a scone, but they are really good. the apple cinnamon are my fave. they really need more of a pastry selection. however, back to their coffee. yum. iced 100% kona. and the hot medium roast is like getting a happy coffee hug too. I really like the chai latte and the hot mocha too. I feel comfortable when i sit and have my coffee here.

Their coffee is amazing! I have been so spoiled that I will never order a drink from Starbucks again. Their breakfast tarts are so delicious! A must-have if you visit here. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable… lots of places to sit and sip.

The Iced Kona Coffee is awesome, tastes so much better than an iced coffee from Starbucks or Coffee Bean. Also had the sausage breakfast tart which was just enough breakfast and just enough pizza to hit the spot early in the am.

The upside is, the coffee taste delicious, the downside is I’ve been here twice for a dry cappuccino and twice i was given a latte. Maybe next time I’ll let them know dry insinuates no milk. …Insert sad face here…

By far my favorite spot for coffee in Kona. Kona coffee and tea is right the center of Kailua Kona and short walk away from other shops and even the post office. Coffee is by the best and is of course locally grown and picked. Locally owned and operated, The staffed very good at what they do and are always working with a smile on their face. Also did I mention very knowledgeable about coffee. Atmosphere and ambience is also good, sit down and have a cup with a friend or read a favorite book while sipping a down a cup. So come on down and taste for yourself what everyone is talking bout and come a see why Kona Coffee and Tea Company is all bout.

Went to Starbucks first hoping for an outlet. No outlet, much less a free seat, the entire place was packed. Went to this place. Plenty of open seating, only outlet had a piece of paper taped on it with some message outlawing its usage. Prices ~20% higher than starbucks. Your market wants outlets, even if your coffee products were terrible, you could take a lot of starbucks customers. Maybe just make them outside? Instead of complaining about lack of support of local businesses, we should complain that the local businesses refuse to provide what the customers want, but the big corporations will, hence not an empty seat in Starbucks.

Best Coffee spot in downtown KONA. Nice atmosphere & roomy indoors & out. Most of all: Real service. Meaning REAL baristas. The ONLY coffee spot I can TRUSTDAILY; If I go anywhere else I only get disappointed. *real deal lattes *cold press *knowledgeable staff *ambience *parking

Alright, this is the second review I’ve done in 7 days. Last review I was feeling a bit POed about the refill and card changes. But want be sure people know that, in my mind, This is STILL the best place in Kona for fine coffee drinks! Drinks are carefully and lovingly prepared, and they DO serve the finest tasting brewed Kona coffee I’ve ever had. Other pluses: Best baristas in Kailua town!!! Can sit indoors or outdoors. They have numerous tea choices, many from the Big Island. Convenient location, close to many shops and near post office. Lots of locally made goods, including their food choices. They have an owner/managers who LISTEN to what you have to say, namely suggestions for improvement. It’s a local family owned business that supports their community. They are addressing the refills and card issues. And even if they had none of that, I’d still come here for the high quality of their products.
