It’s just so easy to shop there. Easy storefront parking, easy in and out. Easy to find helpful staff. All around great!

Went there yesterday (Saturday) to find a hard to find (apparently) item. Jacob helped me out. He really, really knew his stuff. Accurately guessed (at a glance) the size and length of the item I had. Told him what and how the part was for, and off we went. Searched high and low for an exact match. Too long, too short, or wrong fittings everywhere. Finally found our closest match, and cut it down to size for me.
Jacob is the type of guy more companies NEED. Knowledgeable, friendly, and knew their inventory!!!
I avoid the Maui Lani location because the staff is HORRIBLE there, and avoid the Alamaha location because I thought of them as being bad because of association. The staff at the Alamaha location is way, way, way better!!!

This review is for the gas station portion of the store. I just received the worst possible customer service of my life. First I was having trouble using my debit card because I guess I was entering my zip code wrong, even though I entered twice and I checked it. After that I figured I would just use a different card, an AMEX… They don’t accept AMEX, I realized that after I slid it through. So the lady outside in the little box thing had to cancel my transactions. I understand it might be frustrating for her so, I just walked up and I said «I’m sorry I don’t know whats wrong with my debit card, can I just pay with cash» (while holding a 5 dollar bill in my hand). She replied «YEAH its saying that your zip code is wrong, that is something you need to call your bank about. It’s a debit card… You know your pin don’t you? Why don’t you just press the debit button.» me «I didn’t see the button, I just slide my card, can I just pay with cash?» Her «Its there, you know your pin umber don’t you. Press the debit button and enter your pin». She is saying all of this, with EXTREME ATTITUDE!!! All the while I am standing outside holding my 5 dollar bill in my hand and its raining. I just wanted to say to her «Just take my god dam money lady», but I didn’t. They have lost a customer FOR LIFE!!!

My contractor uses them. He’s happy so I’m happy… They’ve always been great when I call. They also have things that others don’t. It’s nice to have everything in one store…

One of the only places on Maui with butane fuel canisters that will work with our Jetboil stove for backpacking. Tried the Ace in Kihei, Sports Authority and Walmart in Kahului, and this was the only place to get these. Great customer service too!

Nice Friendly Staff. Open Sunday the store has a full service auto key shop, Prices are higher then the Big Stores but they provide service. Also you buy a single round key rings in different sizes that are not available at the Big Box stores. A little hard to find but worth the effort.

This is where you go to get what you need. If you go to the big box stores you will be frustrated with the lack of knowledge and lack of service, but if you go to Ace Marmac you will be pleasantly surprised and treated well… and most likely walk out with exactly what you need. This is a special place on Maui. Aloha to Ace Marmac!

Go inside and down to the left! My review is only for the kitchen accessory area. If you go to this area there are items such as Le Creuset pots and other great higher end kitchen gadgets. I love to go in and wander at all the little delightful accessories in this area!

Ace is the place that has knowledgeable staff that is very helpful and can give you hints on how to make repairs. The location in Kahului was not hard to find, they have a pretty extensive selection for such a small place. We got all we needed to make small home repairs.

This is the best locally owned hardware store in Kahului. I try here first for everything before Home Depot or Lowes. They’ve got an incredible amount of inventory and very helpful staff. My wife always finds a fancy kitchen gadget there too, they’ve got a pretty impressive selection of that stuff as well.
