Badua’s Maui Crepes & Grill

Who knew you could find delicious hand made crepes in Hawaii! And the fresh chips are amazing!

Larry Badua and his team continue to build on this gem, upgrading from their original kiosk in the mall.
The Chicken Avocado crêpe was flavorful and as usual, excellent.
I had the Mahimahi which was seared on the flat-​top grill (seasoned perfectly) with rice and baby bok choy.
I also ordered the Keiki Hamburger, which came with French fries… and a hefty portion of them! The burger, like the fish, was seasoned well and I didn’t need to soak it in ketchup like many other burgers.
Here’s the surprise part… you gotta try the fries. Yes, I know it sounds corny, but they make the best (all my life I’ve been partial to McDonald’s French fries). Trust me, they’re not greasy, perfectly done, and salted enough to keep you putting them in your mouth!

Great crepes, panini sandwiches are delish! Lava flow and Nutella/​banana crêpe for dessert outstanding!

For price, quality, and quantity and convenience (located in the food court of Queen K mall), you won’t be disappointed. I’ve had lunch and dessert crepes before, but recently just tried breakfast. Delicious and filling and even comes with a side of potato wedges… and they have regular coffee too. I heard they even have gluten free crepes now, but I can’t confirm.

Today I’m trying the paniolo chicken crêpe. With red wine vinegar dressing on the salad. Yum yum!
The girls at the counter are always so sweet!!! And crepes are half off 2−4pm!!!

The mahi mahi with lemon sauce was da bomb. Wifey had the pesto chicken panini and that was spot on. You gotta check this place out. Kitchen is clean and food is very tasty.

Fresh ingredients, crepes made for each order with a great variety. Even have a happy hour for dessert crepes. Saw a few banana splits ordered and sure did look yummy!
What a delicious change from a sandwich and regular fast food. Friendly and helpful service. Definitely will be back.

Our family loves this place! Our favorites are the crepes. Specifically the Cheese Blintzes and the Lava Flow. The menu has something for everyone and now includes plate lunches! The family that runs this business is so friendly and professional. Glad they have outgrown their kiosk!

Had a signature burger, cooked to perfection, i would of preferred the grilled onions cut thicker and leaf lettuce and not shredded but still it was a good burger. The price for lunch is reasonable and the staff is super friendly. A great Family run business

Another update is in order because since my last one just 2 months ago, Badua’s has moved out of their kiosk in the food court and into a permanent stall, in the former Hot Dog On A Stick space.
Their new digs are nice and clean, and their menu has also been expanded. They now offer salads, burgers, and plate lunches in addition to their sweet & savory crepes! A definite plus for this mall’s food court that has seen a bunch of closings recently.
FOOD:
Parmesan Chicken Crêpe — I’m becoming accustomed to savory crepes ever since trying one at Café Des Amis in Paia. This version doesn’t disappoint either! Tender slices of chicken breast, fresh sautéed mushrooms, parmesan cheese, and bacon bits are neatly wrapped up in their infamous, soft and slightly creamy-​battered crêpe with a drizzle of caesar dressing on top. A small mixed lettuce & greens salad is included with dressing of your choice. Perfect portion and priced at $ 8.59.
SERVICE:
Friendly and food service was quick.
OVERALL:
I think they’ll do great. Why? They offer a variety of foods that cater to the rock’s different palettes.

The two gentlemen that were running the kiosk today were very friendly and helpful regarding their specials and ingredients of their crepes. The whole kiosk was very clean.
I watched the crepes being made from start to finish. The perfect amount of each ingredient was added with meticulous care. The presentation of the food was great too.
The crepes tasted wonderful! They were light and fluffy. Great job! Keep it up!

Best nutella and banana crêpe ever! Splurge and get a scoop of chocolate ice cream as well! It’s $ 9 for a crêpe and ice cream but they give you a whole banana and plenty of nutella. Plus it’s Maui. Everything is more expensive here. I devoured mine before I could take a picture. Took me less than 2 minutes and the crêpe is pretty big.

Rather a disappointing vegetarian panini lunch here. The panini had a reheated-​frozen-​food kind of taste to it and the vegetables were quite undercooked.
Added an extra star for the speedy service from the two friendly, helpful servers at the kiosk.

Panini always makes me hungry. I walked up to the food court and this was the first kiosk food I seen. Walked around the food court and just couldn’t find something that was enticing. So I went browsed the menu and decided on the Tuna Panini! I sat near by and they brought my food to me. It also came with a side salad. I think I might be back there tomorrow for lunch again.

I work right next door in the mall and finally tried this place. SO SO SO good. I got the chicken basil crêpe and it was so fresh and yummy. The owner is awesome too, so friendly and he has a great story and beautiful family. I’ll be back over and over …
