Bottom line, this is the best Italian food in Palm Beach County! The owners are from New York and only have this restaurant open during fall and winter. The Caesar salad is crisp and fresh, the garlic bread is lightly toasted with fresh garlic sprinkled on top. The chicken Parmesan is phenomenal as well as the chicken Frances. All of the deserts are delicious, but the tiramisu is exceptional. The owners and staff are very pleasant and attentive. The misses and I prefer RnJ’s above all other Italian restaurants!

This place is tiny, not near any traditional restaurants and is awesome!!! Friends invited us to this place and I will be the first to admit being skeptical. Pulled up and thought oh boy… I will make this review short and simple. Don’t come here I want this place to myself. Great food, wine and service!!! Chicken and eggplant parm maybe the best I have ever had. Combine that with great service, great specials, an authentic food selection and a local cool vibe and it is totally worth it. #LoveWhatYouEat #EnjoyLife

Warm, friendly service and delicious food and wine. We’ve now been here twice for dinner and had a great experience both times. The homemade manicotti melts in your mouth. Yellowtail snapper piccata was perfect. Eggplant rollatini was wonderful, with al dente penne on the side. Small and cozy inside — everyone around you is happy to be there, too. This is now our go-to place for Italian food.

Not at all impressed. The entrees reminded me of Olive Garden but smaller portions. Very limited choices. Eggplant rotatini $ 24.The prices are ridiculous for what you get. They only have wine and beer. Definitely not going back

«Romeo and Juliets is without a doubt, the best Italian in the area! If you want pasta and sauce, they have it but, if you want gourmet, that is their specialty. Everytime I’ve been there the menu was different… with new creations weekly, if not daily. The food and service has been excellent everytime. Most creative italian I’ve ever enjoyed. A must if you are a foodie like me.» Dined on 12/30/2011 «We had a very nice experience at this restaurant. It is definitely a neighborhood place as everyone seemed to know everyone else. Romeo’s is tiny, But the food was fabulous even on new years eve. We both had a veal entrée, which was very tender and melted in your mouth. we ordered an appetizer of fried zucchini which was more than enough for the two of us and we normally don’t eat dessert, but my husband said the tiramisu was One of the lightest and tastiest he has ever had. We would definitely return to Romeos, but make a reservation and don’t tell your friends, or you Will never get in this tucked away gem.» Dined on 12/31/2011 «You name it this resturant has it! Great Food, great service, romantic, good for the family, good for group of friends. This neighborhood gem has it all. Tammy waitress/owner is awesome. The only thing wrong is when everyone realizes what they have been missing they will be a wait. But it is worth every minute if you want excellent food!!» Dined on 12/28/2011 «First time visit. We loved the place. Small dining room and bar, husband and wIfe team. Fills up fast so be sure to call ahead. Food was delicious.» Dined on 12/27/2011 «out of the way and worth the trip. Husband and wife team take hospitality to new heights. Wonderful selection of wine! the restaurant takes great pride in welcoming and serving their guests.» Dined on 12/16/2011 neighborhood gem, notable wine list «The best escargot I’ve ever had and I’ve had them in Europe. Varied Italian menu with no pretension and good wine list. Go early or go late for the best experience.» Dined on 12/19/2011 «A cute little Mom and Pop outfit. It is decorated nicely and the service is good. Portions were really small and our salad came very salty. They redid it so were then pleased. Only gave us two little slices of bread and when we asked for more, we received 3 small slices! Veal Picata was good but nothing special. If it was close, we would return but we live several miles away.» Dined on 12/15/2011 «out of the way but worth the journey. Husband and wife team work really hard to make the dining experience wonderful. Charming little bistro.» Dined on 12/01/2011 «we love this place — the intimate atmosphere due to size is perfect — great food, quiet, fabulous staff.» fit for foodies, neighborhood gem, notable wine list, romantic, special occasion Dined on 11/28/2011 «It’s a small place, nice and cozy! Has great food and a lot of charm. Dined on 10/22/2011

It is sooooo difficult to find quality, homemade Italian cuisine. Well, I found it. I cannot rave enough about this small, intimate, diamond in the rough. And by rough I mean a dark mini strip mall type area in the middle of a corporate park??? In any case, this place is PACKED. Word of mouth is king. Service is excellent. Menu offers many choices without being overwhelming. Excellent wines by the glass — enjoy the super Tuscan for $ 8!!! Food was heavenly. Any place where the waitress properly pronounces manicotti is a winner.

Its always good to remind yourself of who’s talking when they recommend a restaurant — are they really food people? Pulling up to Romeo-n-Juliette’s(the way they spell it should have raised a red flag) you may be filled with anticipation — Florida has scores of great little spots wedged into unassuming strip mall-style settings. This is not one of them. It has highlights, but the overall experience comes up short — especially when the final number adds up to a fine dining ideal. While having a drink, the cheese & cracklings were requested. «Sorry, we don’t have any goat cheese.» No problem, how bout a nice plate of calamari for the table? «I’m afraid we’re out of the calamari.» Okay — so it’s Saturday night at 7:30(not 9!) and the kitchen has under-anticipated the high demand for calamari in an Italian restaurant. I was beginning to think we were in the ‘Cheese Shop’ skit from Monty Python — where John Cleese wandered into a cheese shop only to discover the place bereft of any dairy product. Our server then suggested bruschetta, an item frequently brought as an amuse bouche at no charge but here commanding a hefty $ 9 price. Sounds great — let’s add sausage-stuffed fried olives($ 6) and move on. If you’re gonna whack people for nine bucks, the bruschetta should ideally be prepared with fresh, tasty tomatoes — these were fresh but had little to offer otherwise, a problem that is far too common currently. That might have been remedied with some salt — but apparently that was being hoarded by the entrée chef, who was heavy-handing those dishes with the salt. Ever pass by the Texas Toast in the frozen food section and cringe? Pretty sure the bruschetta bread tastes just like that stuff — flavor/textureless. Disappointing when other parts of the menu claim house-made bread. The sausage-stuffed olives were good enough — the sausage was there visually even if it was hard to taste — but could you maybe part with more than five? Oh, right — high demand. Beet salad was quite good, and the caesar was better than most. Frequently, the salad is a good barometer for the kitchen’s skill — if they care about the salad, they usually do about everything else. While they do care here, they also seem to suffer from ‘resting on laurels’ syndrome. Grilled salmon was overdone, and killed by the salt that would have helped the bruschetta. Not really sure how someone could send it out like that. A Chicken Scarpariello special — a favorite that is composed of chicken, sausage and cherry peppers — was nicely done. The perfectly cooked chicken was the headliner and there was enough for two. A little detective work was necessary, however, to find the four thin slices of sausage and two cherry peppers. Maybe they were also in high demand. There is a glimmer of hope here, though I suspect they won’t seize it.

Delicious food and excellent service! I had the rice balls then shrimp Parmesan that was terrific. My mom had the special: soft shell crabs and dad had the chicken Parmesan. Brought our own wine for a corkage fee and the service was really top notch. The restaurant is very stuffy and I would recommend the AC or an open door only because the kitchen heat pumps out into the seating area. We smelled every piece of fish that was being cooked which can be unpleasant. Only downside: Had the last table available near the kitchen & the bathroom despite a reservation. Definitely a place to try. Fresh food!

Very intimate, warm environment. My meal, a fish dish, was fantastic as were the side dishes and bruschetta appetizer. My husband got a pork dish that was very tough and the minute we mentioned it they wisked it away and gave him his choice as a replacement. Can’t ask for more than that! Will be back!

Excellent fish frittata(yellow tail snapper) and the side of pasta just like Italy. Bruschetta wonderful. It is a small and intimate place. No bar but beer and wine.

So I went to visit a friend, and I told her make a reservation for a restaurant. I should have looked on Unilocal before she made it and saw the reviews for this place. Seems everyone is stating the same. You make a reservation they don’t even want to honor it. They act like they are doing you a favor. At this point after arguing finally we are seated. You know at the table we reserved with a reservation. At this point I am not even hungry. I don’t go out and spend money for someone to aggravate me. Seriously who can even enjoy food when someone is far from accommodating. Do yourself a favor before you come here read the Unilocal reviews and see if they attitude that comes along with your meal is worth it. I think not!

Food was decent. Agree with below reviews that Juliette was less then accommodating and pretty rude-as you can tell from her own responses below.

Just go! This place is spectacular. The place is no bigger than a large living room which makes you feel very special. The size also helps keep the noise to an acceptable level. If you are a group of more than 4, I think it will be a bit of a challenge. With all that said, this is the best menu and the best food in all of the area. Get the fish; it is fresh and only available about three-quarters of the way through the night(this guarantees only fresh). Fret not, as the menu items are just as good. The meals come with the freshest of salads(prepared individually) and the main course sides are a fresh warm vegetable or a side of homemade pasta(I got both — they were perfect). If you are able, don’t skip the deserts. They too are made just for you(the cheesecake — mmm). Trust me, you will make this a go-to spot on your list.
