Stay away! My children and I visited this studio yesterday afternoon. When we arrived, there was nobody in the reception area. There was nobody behind the counter, there was nobody inside the business office. There was some sort of self-defence class going on with teenaged children in the studio area with an instructor or two. Neither of which attempted to help me. I was with three elementary-aged boys(whom were getting very antsy) and we tried our best to wait approximately 20 minutes with no help. Eventually I decided just to call the phone number and see if someone would pick up the phone in case they were out on lunch. A very rude and gruff sounding man answered the phone.(Mr. Campbell?) He spoke very rapidly and was not interested in working with my family. I have split custody so my children only need to attend classes on a rotating every other week basis. Our last studio worked with me on this before we moved and we only paid half of the tuition since we would only be there half of the time. This seemed to aggravate the man on the phone as he got more snippy and told me that it was my problem and to go deal with the courts and leave him out of it! He was a very rude individual! With no compassion and zero customer service skills! On a side note, besides the poor customer service, the entire studio has about 5 chairs behind the glass for parents to view and according to their leaflet on the counter, parents are encouraged just to drop their children off and leave. I’m sorry, but I like to stay and watch my children practice their lesson. The leaflet says to stay once in a while but for the most part they would like you to leave and pick up your children promptly and on time. Five chairs are not going to be enough seating as our previous studio had entire rows of benches behind the glass window for all of the parents to watch and enjoy their children learn and grow!!! We’re talking 10 – 12 parents at a time including little siblings and baby strollers. I don’t see how this can happen in this tiny cramped lobby area with 5 chairs? We chose a different studio that day.(In Jupiter) We registered that very afternoon and start class today!

One of the première martial arts schools in south Florida, Harmony Martial Arts provides friendly but effective training in a healthy atmosphere. If you are looking to learn self defense, Harmony offers intense Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. If you are looking for traditional martial arts Harmony has a world class TaeKwonDo school. All are associated with large national oversight bodies. The instructors are top notch and they attract a nice clientele. The people who attend are serious about training but friendly and helpful to new comers. Harmony has a robust children’s program and focuses on building character as well as fitness. Highly Recommended.
