This place has a lot of potential but the lagoon closes on a regular basis due to unsafe levels of bacteria. The issue is the lagoon is basically still water and with high recreational use, mostly of young children, enterococci levels are very high. This is a bacteria found is human waste. Again, great place by the looks of it but they desperately need to address this very big issues

Nice facility This place was pretty cool — the water is mixed and relatively shallow. As a lazy river, it’s very calm, so good for children. We were able to swim out away from the beach across the river which was nice. Down side was that it was pretty crowded with a real mix of people. And we had to park pretty darn far from the entrance.

When I came to this park to check it out I wasn’t expecting cigarette butts all over the ground and 30 year olds cursing at each other under a bridge. That was my first impression. When walking in there is a public bathroom and benches under Palm trees. If you walk along the path you pass all that I’ve described. There is a small lagoon that was said to be good for kids snorkeling but it’s appearance convinced me otherwise. Once I made it to the pier I found the beach facing the ocean which was just like other beaches around. From there on the park gets better. I suggest parking by the pier to avoid my experience.

Not a bad location on the inlet. The beach is a little bit small. The snorkeling is medium and will get better as time goes on. Nice and safe for very young children

Love this place. I met a friend who was visiting with her family 2 x here. I am 1 hour south of the park but well worth the drive. Even my hubby who does not like sand went with me and loved it. The only downside is if the tide is going out there is little water. Watch the tide schedule. Bring water shoes, mask snorkel and noodle or raft. Pack lunch and drinks there is nothing there to buy. Those are my suggestions. Clean bathrooms and showers. So beautiful. Can’t wait to go again.

This park is excellent for anyone looking for a place to swim without having to worry about massive waves pulling you under. On the rough days during our trip, this is where we ended up. On the weekends the place is packed but, I should note it’s a decently safe area. We still hid the car keys under our towel but everyone there was very respectful of our things. No one stomped sand around into our set-up even on the busiest days. The real treasure about this place though is the SNORKELING! My husband and I went down to the keys and didn’t find this much species-variety. There were absolutely stunning fish of all sizes and colors. Little«ghost-shrimp» hid under rocks and if you caught one and held it out the fish would go for it. We saw little fiddler crabs, blue(small) hermit crabs, and larger crabs with a sandy yellow appearance that were very fast(also under rocks). The fish here range in size from less than an inch to 4 feet in length. The key here for a great snorkel adventure is to wear aqua shoes(not swim fins), and to swim along the big rocks that make up the perimeter of the main(front) swim area. There are some decent under water drop-offs, and some strong-ish currents can happen suddenly when a boat goes by(only at the far edge of the lagoon), so look out for those. Other than that, if you forget something at home or get hungry there is a 7 eleven and a taco-bell close by. Perfect!

Great park for families! A gem we were blessed to find! Spent our 3 days here. Just be aware of the mama raccoon, she is fierce, but hungry! Loved our time here! Thank you!

This park is great for families with small children. The Jupiter inlet offers a safe place for them to swim and explore shores for fish, crab and crustacean. For a small area it had a lot to offer my family to stay and play all day. The shady areas were nice to sleep under and hang towels. I prefer the Florida beaches much more than California’s. It’s warmer and cleaner, with about 5 from each state to compare with.

Would be 5 stars if it had a snack bar. Fantastic park with lots of places to have some fun. The main beach area is protected by rocks. There is a nice lazy river kind of area that looked like a tide pool. Not sure, it could have also been a river/creek outlet. Pretty decent beach with a gentle current out to the bay. Let me clarify my tip: they do not sell food here. You can bring it in; there is a Taco Bell on the way and a Circle K right across A1A. Pack up your pic-a-nik baskets and have fun.
