This is a great place for seafood in Jupiter area. The lobster roll was stuffed to overflow. Christina was a friendly waitress

This is a nice little place, and the ambience is really nice outside. The lobster roll(I got the hot one) was really great and was basically just pure lobster, tons of it. We had a new waitress. She was really nice. But… the place is way too expensive. 2 people can easily spend $ 90 on basically lobster sandwiches snd dessert; and there isn’t much overhead. It’s in a hole in the wall on US-1.

Lobster overload! Amazing! Lobster roll, well worth the price. Spicy shrimp appetizer was good but a little expensive. $ 13 for 5 shrimp. Regardless. We will be back.

They try Onion strings a little salty Lobsta bisque not enough flava Clam chowda OK. We’re from Glosta MA so have our own ideas about what these dishes should taste like. As I said — they try. And I’m not sure what keeps them from succeeding. Maybe ’cause we’re spoiled!

Third visit for this NE transplant. Love the whole belly clams. Will bookmark this place for my next visit to the area. Weather permitting eat outside in the courtyard

This place was not what I expected when I read the reviews. When my wife and I walked in I thought I had made a mistake. We were greeted by Kelly and decided to stay. GLADWEDID. WE got the Rhode clam fritters appetizer.WOW. THIS made us feel we were in for a good meal. MY wife got the baked stuffed haddock and I got the Friday fish fry. These were amazing meals and the portions were more than enough. The clam chowder has more clams in it than potatoes and is one of the best. They make a walnut vinaigrette dressing that is to die for. From Zak, Kelly, to Peter the chef this was the best meal.

Great tasting food ordered clam chowder along with baked lobster and scallop everything was fresh, loved the fried clams in the combination platter, fish was very fresh and juicy. Wonderful staff, they were nice and friendly. I definitely would be back for more… Also don’t forget to try their sweet potato fries, best I have had so far…

We are repeat diners here since they opened. Hailing from RI, enjoying fresh, great authentic tasting chowda and specifically fried oysters when here is a great enjoyment. We have never been disappointed with the quality of the food, or the service. The chefs are visible and everything is clean. We understand the lengths they go to get fresh seafood to serve, so paying a bit more is worth the freshness and flavor.

We have talked about hitting CH for some time, today was the day. We pulled in for a late lunch, the restaurant had a nice crowd but seating was readily available. We grabbed a table outside. It was actually nice, a cool shady spot, view of the Bistro seating area and their small bubbling fountain. The wait staff was attentive and took our drink order quickly and returned in a timely fashion with the drinks. After perusing the fare offered, my wonderful date went lobster bisque and cod, I went lobster roll, cold, and clam chowder. The soups were brought first and were just ok, not what we expected. Its a chowder place, no? My NE chowder was thin, some clam was found in there, and a few potatoes. I was kinda disappointed. The lobster bisque was pretty much the same, but lacking lobster. Luck of the ladle? The lobster roll and cod roll came out quickly. My first impression was the lobster roll was stacked nicely, but wow, $ 21 for maybe 6 inches? A little pricey, but it was very good, but 4 bites and gone… I could have nibbled I guess… streeeeetttcccchhhhh it out. The cod was also good but it too was short on delivery. Oh well, been there, done that, in a nut shell the cold lobster roll was very good but doesn’t beckon me to return, Many other choices.

This place would get 4 stars if the menu was $ 10 cheaper all around. Everything is about $ 20+ and it’s good, but not worth it at all. The restaurant looks like a cheap takeout place and that’s what we expected going on, little did we know dinner for 3 would cost $ 100. It’s probably the most expensive restaurant in Jupiter.

What a great place! Our food was excellent and our server was so pleasant. The owner was very attentive. Lobster rolls were very tasty! Cute space with lots of ambiance and a true northeast feel. We’ll go back! My 18 month old granddaughter loves the French fries and oyster crackers!

A nice taste of New England in Jupiter. The clam chowder is creamy, buttery and delicious, no flour flour fillers here. The steamers were fresh(off the plane) and served hot and clean. I will be back to sole more of the menu and then update stars accordingly. Next time: the lobster roll and fried clams.

I may be a native Floridian, but I’ve visited New England dozens of times in my life, and this Boston themed restaurant is the closest I’ve found in the Sunshine State to the taste of New England. The cold lobster roll is perfect. It has the right bread and flavor that is delicious. The fried onions are also fantastic, add a Narragansett, and you’ll feel like you are 1500 miles away.

1÷6÷2016 Hubby & I stopped in for lunch. We arrived at 1:30 pm and waited for 10 minutes to be seated. We were seated at a very small crowed table. I ordered the fried shrimp sandwich with French fries. My husband ordered a grilled codfish sandwich with coleslaw. We each had a cup of lobster bisque soup. When the soup arrived it was room temperature. Although it was tasty, it did not have any lobster in it. We had to ask our server for crackers. The fried shrimp sandwich had 4 small shrimp on it, the FF were cold. The codfish sandwich was good and the Coleslaw was average. Very pricey, We won’t be going back!

Definitely more of a lunch place than a dinner spot. Very casual. If I had to do it over again, I probably would have convinced my parents to take us elsewhere. Likely, «The Woods» down the road(Tiger Woods’ new joint), where we stopped for drinks after having dinner here. The prices here are somewhat outrageous, yet fair, if that makes sense. First of all, it’s Jupiter where everything is more expensive and secondly, the seafood did taste fresh. So it would seem Chowder Heads is living up to its self-proclamation of serving«fresh, authentic New England seafood.» $ 21 for a lobster roll is not outrageous. Raising the price $ 4, upping it to $ 25 just because it’s dinner is pushing it.(I seriously doubt they’re serving you MORE lobster just because it’s dinner). My roll was good. I opted for the cold, but wish I had gotten the warm one(sauteed in sherry and butter). The cold one was just mayo, which I would expect, but how about a little seasoning? The Maine lobster bisque was nothing to write home about. The Ipswich steamers were loaded with sand. And the server definitely made the vibes here more authentic by displaying a New England attitude while serving us … For $ 160 before tip, the 5 of us did not leave here clawing to return.

Regrettably there were no redeeming qualities that we can report in reference to our visit to this establishment. Not only did the exorbitant prices make our jaws drop, but the portions were quite small. To add salt to our wounds, the women who was our server was surly and rude. Even the most reasonable request was met with a roll of her eyes and an attitude of disgust. We were left with a very bad taste in our mouths, figuratively speaking. This was the first and last time we will cross their threshold.

We visited Chowder Heads for lunch. My clam strip roll was overflowing with lightly breaded strips, so abundant that I couldn’t eat it all($ 12). My husband had the oyster roll($ 18) and said they were just right. This was an awesome find. I can’t wait to try other menu items. The New England chowder and clam fritters were just like I remember from summers in Rhode Island. This was a nice and refreshing surprise. The staff was awesome and helpful. The outdoor seating was very comfortable and scenic. We will return without a doubt. I also appreciated that the lunch menu is available on the weekend. Many restaurants limit lunch menus to weekdays only. Give it a try. A little taste of New England right here at Juno Beach.

If you have not been… don’t wait… must eat place We went for a late lunch on a recommendation and have to say we were very happy. The customer service was exceptional. We tried quite a few things and we’re not dispointed. Started with long island clam chowder and crab cake. The soup with a yummy herbful clear broth with lots of clams. The crab cake was full of crab and flavorful. There was a homemade sauce on the side that paired well with the crab. We also tried the onion strings. Lightly fried in a light batter that was only enhanced by the dipping sauce. Them our dinners came. Everything is cooked to order and came out piping hot. I got the fried clam strips. Perfectly cooked and nice long pieces of clam. They were overflowing the toasted bun onto the plate and we’re accompanied by my choice of crab fries. My boyfriend got the large lobster roll. OMG. It was amazing. Tons of lobster and just enough of mayo to keep it together. His side was homemade coleslaw. Yum was all we kept saying. Then there was the shrimp scampi… AMAZING His mother’s dinner was so good. Large shrimp with fresh garlic and fresh pasta cooked perfectly. Best I ever had. Can’t wait to go back and try other offerings
