Loved everything the facility had to offer super nice and real people. We felt like family the moment we showed up. B-Rad with that tattoos was the guy who showed us around. He was so sweet with our baby girl and made our experience fun. My husband and I appreciated that He wasn’t a pushy sales guy and for all those reasons above we will be back and make many more memories while camping here!!!

We purchased a travel trailer and through DDRV got a free trip. We had to commit to a tour and were promised some goodies, no purchase necessary. They sell memberships. Brad is really cool. He was straight with us, but financially we couldn’t. Later down the line we will, it is worth it for the quality of the grounds and other options. Pretty sure he figured we weren’t ready. The place is beautifully magical. The sunsets, the wolves howling and the air! My heart breathes. Lots of activities for families and adults. Orfila wine tasting. Yummy! Games for the kids, year round heated pool and more. Steak dinner $ 10, heck yes! The olde town is classic and friendly. If we could have we would, but one day we will. It’s worth it. Overall, there will be just the moochers who stay for free and not consider being members and there will be those who will become members. The gas voucher is time consuming as you can only go to shell and the tablet is alright. Other than that, you will get suckered in with goods, but want more with the experience.

See more reviews at . Including mine from January 2015 and October 2014. If you stay here, it is recommended that you fill out your comment card and mail it directly to Colorado River Adventures Corporate Office. Don’t drop it off at the KQ gate.

We have been members here for over 6 years and this last weekend(Oct 24th) was unacceptable. There was a man who started yelling late at night from his RV threatening he had a gun and he was not afraid to use it. He was saying that if anyone knocks on his door he was going to blow their head off. This behavior and threats continued for over a half hour. He would shine a light out his window to see if anyone was outside and continued to make these threats. I phoned the on call security and they called the Sheriff which showed up and spoke to the disturbed man for about 5 minutes and left. We were told the man was drunk and he was not a stranger to the Sheriff nor to the jail system. His rv was not searched. We were also told this man was a long term resident at KQ(which supposedly CRA does not allow). The next morning I notified CRA(the corporate office) and advised them of the situation. CRA and the management chose to do nothing about this matter and allowed the man to remain in the resort. This is unbelievable considering all of the people at KQ and all of the children that were going to be Trick Or Treating that weekend. This resort is definitely lacking in Hands On Management and after speaking to more members in the resort and tour guests about the situation, they too were not pleased. Threats like this shouldn’t be taken so lightly and this is definitely not the protocol expected of a supposedly 5 Star Resort.
