When I first walked in the lady behind the glass acted like I was bothering her. She made it completely apparent that she did not like me or my family. She did not speak one word to me about checking in. Nothing about breakfast or nothing else. When I ask the best way to my room she just pointed and gave me a dirty look like I was bothering her. What a joke she is. The bathroom sink is falling off the wall and the two small pillows was almost as big of a joke as the staff.

Bed bugs had a feast. Do no stay here if you do not want to be eaten up! The place is a mess/dump.

Great rate. better at the desk than online… clean room and great location for a night’s rest off of the interstate.

My girlfriend’s sister was getting married, so we wanted a cheap place to stay for a few nights. We wouldn’t be in the room often — only to sleep and freshen up – so finding a place that wasn’t very«nice» was fine. However, this place was even beneath those standards. The back door of the main portion of the motel is broken, so despite a sign signifying that there’s a specific window of time that it is accessible, it was unlocked at all times. This, to me, was a security issue. The hallways and stairwells were incredibly gross. I saw small piles of dirt, cigarette ash, hair and other unacceptable debris on the carpet. It was as if they never cleaned those areas — and there are only two stairwells. In the front stairwell there was even a hole in the wall as if someone punched it. The ground in some spots feel soft like they aren’t very stable. There is a small area in the main lobby where they serve breakfast. I asked for utensils and I was told that some were under the counter in this area. Upon opening a few doors, one section seemed to have an ant infestation problem. Our room was… not too great. We had a bunch of people staying, all of which had problems with their rooms from what I heard and/or saw. One person didn’t have a mini fridge; another party had their smoke detector dangling from the ceiling; and so on. Our room’s mini fridge leaked, our bathroom door didn’t close or lock and the heat from the unit gave off a terrible smell(It was chilly one night). The beds differentiated between rooms. A couple that came with us had a flimsy, bouncy bed, as if it were a water bed, but coupled with the feeling of springs. My bed was OK — a bit too firm. The bathroom wasn’t very clean overall. The molding in some areas of the room were old — which was apparent. The toilet seemed kind of dirty with some stains that couldn’t be removed. Towels were, well… Not of the best quality and somewhat smaller than expected, even the«biggest» towels left in our room. My waist isn’t terribly big and they felt almost snug around my waist. Everyone’s shower gave off that screeching noise when used. The noise was there 95% of the time when the shower was in use. The water temperature took a bit to get warm, but it wasn’t terrible. The television was of very poor quality. They are all tube televisions from the 90’s. Not terrible, but you’d expect almost any motels to have cheap flat screens by now. The lights didn’t work in many rooms. Our switch when we first got into the room didn’t work. Another couple that came with us had a broken light next to their bed. There were other bulbs our or broken switches in other rooms. We were there three days, and our room wasn’t cleaned once. It may have been due to bad timing of us being there when the cleaning people were working, but it was never done. I can’t blame them fully for that. The Administrative Staff seemed OK depending on who was there. One girl was very helpful, while another was on her cell phone and didn’t seem to want to be bothered. There was a lot of mix-ups between all of our parties there. They called us early in the morning saying we bought two days, whereas we bought three. They also messed up my girlfriend’s parents’ dates, too. Keep in mind that since this place is pretty cheap, it draws a lot of «bad» people. Not everyone that wants a decent deal is a bad or dirty person, but you can tell that most people that I came across was not of very high class… at all. I heard some«neighbors» yelling as if they were on an episode of Jerry Springer, the smell of marijuana resonated through the halls on more than one occasion, and the noise of two people engaging in sexual intercourse could be heard throughout the halls. The walls are very thin… Just keep this in mind, especially if you’re bringing children. I also saw piles of cigarettes everywhere and a couple of spots where people left empty beer cans and bottles. Like I said, the prices was fantastic, but next time we ALL agreed to spend a few extra bucks and just get slightly pricier rooms. Last but not least, locating the place is kind of annoying. There is a big Super 8 Motel sign that can be seen from the main roadway, but the turn, especially at night, is hard to see. There is a small sign that shows the entrance, but it is hardly noticeable in comparison to everything around. If you miss the turn, then you have to take a somewhat lengthy detour. If anything, they should try and add a second entrance on the side road just passed the motel in case people miss the original turn. If you want a cheap place, I’d say look elsewhere. This could be a last resort. I am not knocking Super 8 Motels as a whole, either. I’ve stayed in many in New York and they were always smaller, yes, but they were always in good condition and cleaned. This one? Not so much.

Yuck. I’m down with the low budget motel, but this place is just icky. The toilet sort of wobbled when you sat on it, the hair dryer only worked when it felt like it and the back piece kept falling off. The smoke alarm sprinkler thingie appeared to be rotting. No irons. The place just smells. I mean, it’s a Super 8. You get what you pay for.

Cute room nice front desk service breakfast comes with and excellent prices HOWEVER, the lady at the front desk gave us a key to the wrong room which we went into and saw that someone else was checked into the room. The bed was uncomfortable and if you like a big pillow, ask for more because the ones that come in the room are very small and flat.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on our way back to NYC on a road trip, and I gotta say — for a motel, this place is stellar. The room was clean and smell-free, the service was helpful, beds comfy, and they had a full continental breakfast. Most importantly it was affordable, which is important when you’re low on cash and trying to get out of a bad rainstorm in the middle of the night. I’ll definitely keep Super 8 in mind when I’m next on the road and looking for a place to stay the night.
