I can’t say enough about how highly displeased I was with the customer service provided by Installation Concepts. While the furniture assembly and delivery were done according to schedule, the drivers mounted the TV to the wall unit, but failed to show me how to hook my TV up(which of course is pushed against a wall). It didn’t occur to me to ask about this before they left. Instead, when the cable company comes and they say they aren’t allowed move the furniture, that’s when I realize I have a problem. I call Installation Concepts, and while the person on the phone tried to explain how to access the back of the TV without moving the unit, clearly this would’ve been much easier in person. I asked for someone to come and show me how the furniture works, but they said they would charge me to do it. Additionally, they were actually doing double speak because they said it wasn’t their responsibility to show me how to hook the TV up or use the furniture, and at the same time, they said they didn’t handle electrical appliances.(Funny, how they didn’t say that when I asked them to mount the TV.) The person I spoke to, Chris, was apparently the top dog there(according to him), and he was pretty smart-mouthed. When I stated that I would send a letter voicing my displeasure, he said he «couldn’t wait to see that.» So much for«the customer is always right.» None too pleased… TL

They installed media cabinets from Ikea. They didn’t use the mounting brackets that Ikea recommended, no explanation given, but the installation appears to be very secure. One installer really knew his stuff, and directed the other two. I am pleased with where the cabinets were mounted, they were placed exactly as I wanted. They did not ask where I wanted the shelves placed, so my husband had to remove the doors, move the shelves, and put the doors back on. Also I would have preferred the doors opening In the opposite direction, but they were screwed in with power tools and it is not possible to redo the door hinges. The installation was done quickly and competently. My biggest complaint is that one of the workmen pulled the towel holder loose from the wall in the guest bathroom and neglected to inform me, and obviously they have the tools to reinstall the holder. I talked to the receptionist and she stated that they would repair the holder, but that was 2 weeks ago, and so far no one has showed up. I will post if it the repair gets done.
