Occasionally my fiancé and I will have a date night and if he picks, he will choose Ruby Tuesday’s. I don’t exactly find it to be particularly special but we go here because he thinks it. It’s always been clean, the service has been good, and so has the drinks. I find that I like certain items on the menu more than others, for instance, I love their sugar snap peas, and the chocolate cake I’ve had here in the past is to die for. I haven’t had it in so long, though, I’m not even sure if it’s on the menu anymore. The salad bar is plentiful and and is only $ 2.99 to add to your meal which I usually opt for. But other than those three things I can’t say I’m too impressed by the menu. Typical steak, fancy burgers and chicken type of place. The last time we went here my fiancé ordered a burger medium well. He took a bite and the middle just seemed way too red to me. When he squeezed it, blood came pouring out. It definitely wasn’t a medium well burger, it was SUPER rare. The waiter was very nice about taking it back and cooking up another burger which was cooked correctly that time and we only waited about 3 minutes for it. So far, so good. I’m sure we’ll be back again sometime, probably when we can’t make up our mind where else to go, lol.

Pretty standard Ruby Tuesday. Friendly staff. Nice location and ample parking space. Standard menu. Nothing to be disappointed with, nothing too exciting. Always a safe bet for dinner or lunch.

We stopped for a late bite. Draft beer skunky, otherwise perfectly adequate. Flatbread was eh. Texas rubbed ribs were excellent. Decent people and prices.

I used to think ruby Tuesday had passed it’s prime and was on its way out the door. Wrong. Food is much better than I remember, and the happy hour is top notch! And that salad bar… yum!

I dined here a while back with my fiancé and my brother. My brother and I both had burger meals which weren’t too bad but it’s not very difficult to make a burger. My fiancé ordered a steak. He said he wanted the toy that came with it because it looked like it belonged in a kids meal. The steak was thin, dry and tiny. He ordered couple glasses of wine and we left that night unsatisfied after paying $ 80.00! The price wasn’t even the worst part. My fiancé actually left this restaurant and went to another one to order a to-go meal because he was still hungry. I’ve been to other Ruby Tuesday locations and have had a good experience but this one is on my list of top ten worst restaurants in Joplin, MO.

A lot of healthy choices on the menu so dieters can enjoy a meal with non dieters. Food was tasty and service was awesome.

Came in for lunch with my family. Great food, cheddar biscuits were some of the best I have had at a Rubys. First time visiting the salad bar, fresh, crisp, and just right before my meal. Had the mini zucchini burgers. Loved them. Good service, good food, good times.

I’ve been to this restaurant 6 times. 1 out of the 6 was a completely pleasurable experience. The other 5 were not I kept going back thinking, the next time will be better. I won’t go into all of the various problems we experienced. It all seems to come down to the fact that the staff needs to focus on what’s good for the customer, and not so much on what floats their boat. Something I find a bit annoying is, they seem to want to pinch pennys. If you order ribs, they tend to come almost dry. When you ask for some BBQ sauce, they give you a tiny little cup that may hold about a teaspoon worth. A menu item includes bread, that you have to specifically ask for, time after time. They have GREAT ribs there. I’m not sure it’s worth going back for though.

Man who would have thought that a drink, fries, and a regular hamburger would cost $ 13! Ridiculously expensive! After graduating from MSSU, I thought lets go here for a treat. Man, did this place run off like highway bandits! Now, I am a stickler for prices, but the food was not any better. The hamburger; well that left as much of a bad taste as the price gouging. Now I know that you can request that the meat gets cooked a certain way, but most of the time people don’t do this and all hamburgers are generally cooked medium. Atmosphere, service, cleanliness, et cetera are all indeed just typical. Despite being a sunny day, it sure was pretty dark inside. I am no day-walker, so I enjoy the sunlight especially on a sunny day! Really can’t see myself coming here until I hear the ridiculously high prices have come down several dollars!

I go to RubyTues for convenience and Blue Moon… which is usually on tap. The convenience is either the location or the fact that they still have one of the best salad bars around… and some of the best croutons and blue cheese dressing south of heaven. Southwestern spring rolls were not as good as another chain’s… Chili’s… but A-OK. There are a lot of newer seafood selections that might be worth a look on the newest menu, which is actually paired down a little from the«book» of the old days.

We really like this Ruby Tuesday restaurant. We have always had good meals here and their fantastic salad bar. It is a great place to stop off at along Hwy 44 before you head out to the wild wild west.

I’m not sure how they manage to stay open as a chain. I mean, there’s absolutely nothing to recommend them over their plethora of competitors and their prices are on the high side. They do have a good selection of burgers, but unless you just have to have a half-pound gourmet buffalo burger right now, I’d head somewhere else. Atmosphere, service, cleanliness, et cetera are all just typical.

It’s a chain. Yeah, I know, but I’m not one of those restaurant snobs that snubs chains. I actually look at chains quite favorably, I mean, for a concept to result in multiple units, it must be doing something right, ya know? Ruby Tuesday’s falls into that category. They do a lot of things right, and this particular location in Joplin, Missouri reminded me of why this chain has become so successful. So what was I doing in Joplin, Missouri? Well, sadly, I was headed home after watching my Mizzou Tigers squander a 12-point lead over the Cornhuskers and allow 21 points to be scored against them in about 3 minutes of the 4th quarter. Tragic. I was still in mourning after the loss and I desperately needed a burger to cheer me up. I was hoping Ruby Tuesday’s could help. I ordered the Three Cheese Burger. It was 8 ounces of fresh ground beef bliss topped with 3 slices of cheese — American, Aged Cheddar, and Swiss — on a fresh, whole grain bun. The burger was cooked perfectly and gushed with flavor. Add 3 slices of cheese to that and I found myself in a state of burger nirvana rarely reached. Yeah, the burger was about perfect, but what really sealed the deal on this place was the service. The server was friendly, sincere, prompt, and very helpful when it came to the menu items — meaning he was honest. When I asked his opinion of some of the menu items he was quick to give his honest opinion, which I appreciated. All in all, the entire staff seemed to genuinely care about my eating experience, and that was a breath of fresh air. That’s reason enough to make this stop a no-brainer next time I’m in Joplin.
