I love looking through everything. Wide isles and clean. Little bit of everything. I frequent this place! Very friendly staff.

Overwhelming! There was a lot of good stuff, but there is so much of it that you kind of go numb after perusing a few aisles. Items in a variety of prices, some reasonable while others were way overpriced. This place would be better to visit more frequently and not try to cruise the whole thing at once.

I loved the place when it was Connie’s, but I’ve watched it go downhill over the years. After looking at other antique places in town, I will probably not go back here. It’s very run down and dated. The prices are ridiculous for most of the items I was interested in… and much higher than places around Joplin that I’ve been to. I was very disappointed during my last visit, since I had loved it so much through the past few years. The stuff here is honestly just very low quality. It’s a bunch of ‘smalls’ that hold little to no value but are sold as if they do have value. There is a good collection of metal signs, but they are more expensive than other places I have found the same ones at. I just am so disappointed that it has become so run down and crappy.

This flea market was formerly open under different ownership as «Connie’s Antiques & Collectibles». I loved it then, and I love it now as Fancy Flamingo! Some things have changed. The aisles and booths are roomier and there are a lot of new vendors here. But many of the aspects I loved about Connie’s remain unchanged. This flea market still has a wonderful selection of items and most are very well priced. There are bargains galore in this very large building. It is not a high end antique store by any means, and there’s plenty of «junk» to be found here… but by and large, it’s quality merchandise in most booths. This is the ONE flea market/antique mall that I seem to be unable to leave empty-handed! I am generally more of a «browser» but when I walk out, I’ve always purchased something, whether it’s a large book case or just a cute owl photo, decorative tin, or some transparent tape! I love to spend a few hours of my Sunday browsing at Fancy Flamingo and I’m really glad they’ve come into being so quickly, as I was very sad when Connie’s closed.
