St. Bernards Health and Wellness Institute

I’m from California and while living in Jonesboro for a brief period I joined this gym. I have been to handfuls of gyms all over the place. Some good… most bad. This facility is a perfect example of what fitness and wellness centers should strive to become. A perfect facility. Indoor pools, indoor track, weights, machines, Group rooms, stationary bike room, olympic lifting area, nutritionists, a café, parking, reasonable pricing, never intimidating and amazing locker rooms. Seriously, without a doubt a perfectly balanced facility. If you live in the jonesboro area you really should at least go see it.

What an awesome facility this is! As a nonathletic person, going to the gym can be intimidating. But what I love about here is that the focus is on overall health and who doesn’t want to be healthy? They offer so many activities there is something for everyone at every fitness level. Every time I go, everyone is super friendly (both staff and members). The locker rooms are well appointed and clean. Feels more spa resort than gym locker… even have TV in the mirrors! Love the salt water pool! They offer lots of equipment to allow for great water work outs and then afterward you can head to the hot tub to relax the muscles.
All of the equipment is new and treadmills and elliptical machines all have individual TVs and IPhone docking stations.
As a beginner or someone more advanced, this is a wonderful facility to join!
