IHOP

Do not eat here. The place is a disaster. You have to wait on benches out front when there are plenty of tables and booths empty. Don’t understand this. We had to wait an hour and a half for our food. Ridiculous. The waiters stand around the computer and talk. The manager and all the waiters need to be fired. Besides it is filthy in there.

Well, service has gone down again. It seemed very promising when the manager came over as soon as we sat down asking if our drink order had been taken. As we sat looking at the menu we noticed how so many people didn’t have their food, but there was a ton of food in the window. Suddenly it seemed that another manager came back from her break and started getting things back in order. Everyone flocked to the kitchen and food started to come out. We could hear waiter telling the cooks «This bacon is burnt! You gotta make more.» It was a mess. The bread on my cheesesteak was burnt and the meat had no flavor. We got an order of red velvet pancakes and they were burnt as well. It was a total fluster cluck.

Average IHOP. I use to really enjoy this place but quality has left over the years. The guy that showed us to our seating acted as if he didn’t want to be there. I continued to watch him after being seated and he was not a very enthusiastic person, which is not what you want your guest to experience right off. First impressions are vital. The waitress was in training and you could tell she was nervous but her trainer was there guiding her along. Overall both waitresses were great. Even the trainee was very polite and checking in on us. The food was decent. My little girl loved her pancakes. She’s 2, so not hard to please. I had the t-​bone with eggs and pancakes. I requested bacon on the side. Everything was great except the steak. The steak was decent but the seasoning on it, I didn’t care for. I eat steak 1 – 2 times a week, so I’m a little picky on then. It may have just been my personal preference and others may enjoy the seasoning. Overall fast seating, courteous servers and despite having a ¾ house the food was out very quick. Great job.

Very hateful this morning. The lady seating us was very hateful. She took us to a table we have a little kid. We asked to seat at a booth and she smarted off. Then she didn’t give my son a menu. We go in there all the time. First time that the host has been that rude.
