Demo’s Smokehouse & BBQ

Demo’s used to be really good before the actual man (Demo) sold it. All the recipes stayed the same but the quality just isn’t the same. Things are made in advance and just sit around waiting to be used. Soggy fries, cold beans, pitiful. Jonesboro really doesn’t have a good bbq place anymore sadly.

Great food and service. Nice people. Great prices. Order and pay at first walk up window and pick up food at another window. I got pulled pork and my wife got the brisket. Both extremely good. French fries are great, beans are great, potato salad great, and Cole slaw great. Loved bbq sauce too. Nothing bad at all to say. Better than any franchise. Will go back for sure. Glad to stop in while passing through.

This is my favorite BBQ place. Nice parking lot and cool building that is equally as cool in the inside. Very neat details like bucket lights and reclaimed wood features. Lots of attention to detail.
Simple and affordable menu with several options and great priced kids meals. I typically get brisket, pulled pork or chicken with beans. The beans are the best! Most BBQ places have meats that are way to smokey tasting. Not this one. It is just right. They also make their own BBQ sauce which is yummy. The service is always so fast. By the time we finish ordering and paying at the counter our food is typically ready in the pick up window. Also available are family packs of meat, buns, sauce, and fixings.
Another service they offer is to smoke/​cook the meat you bring in. We even had them smoke our turkey for thanksgiving and it was PERFECT! we will do that every year. So much better than frying, smoking or baking at home.

Have been here several times and food is always good. We like to get the beef which is chopped and very lean. But honestly it is a little dry but they have 2 sauce choices that you can use. Sauce is not overly sweet and has a mild kick. Last time I tried the Bbq nachos which were good… covered in bbq beans, beef, and nacho cheese. (fyi it comes with pork but if you want beef just ask!) Fries here are perfect! Crinckled and crispy!

service & food is great each time I visit here. I order the pork sandwich plate & it is always very good. highly recommend it if you are looking for a quick in & out place with great bbq.

Cool looking building both inside and out. You can tell from the décor that attention was paid to detail when this place was under design and under construction. Shame the same attention to detail is not evident in the food. I was in town visiting a relative in the hospital and went out for lunch. I should have known because all the other restaurants had packed parking lots and this place had two cars. At noon you would expect more traffic. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich and baked beans. The sandwich was OK, on a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 5. The bun looked like someone has stuck their finger through the bun. The beans we not great and they were room temp at best. I could not eat them. This place could have potential but I will pass in the future.
