Today I discovered that they have take out. So I ordered a two piece broasted chicken with two sides and it hit the spot for lunch. It was very inexpensive at $ 5.00. If you’re familiar with downtown Joliet you now there aren’t many restaurants to choose from.

Recently commissioned Nancy and her crew to host a surprise birthday party. Let me say, I was impressed from the moment I walked into the room during setup, all the way through to the end of the party. The space was fantastic and well thought out. Nancy and your her-workers were very courteous, friendly, attentive, and helpful the enter time. The food tables were very clean, organized, and the food was delicious. The execution was flawless and everyone involved the day of did an over-the-top amazing job. I know that my family and I will be recommending Nancy, her co-workers, and the venue to anyone looking for a fun alternative to celebrate their special occasion.

Swore I’d never eat here again. I was coerced by a friend to try it 1 more time. Seafood night is just pathethic. The asian food station is worst than golden corral food, the italian food us just sad. The fried chicken and baked chicken are probably one of the better items. The all you can eat Snow crab legs are ok, as well the peel and eat shrimp. No more raw oysters, oyster rockafeller or sushi. The carving station is a joke. I have never seen meat(turkey, low quality beef, no ham anymore, and link polish) sliced so thin, but to serve a piece of grilled pineapple ‘matchstick cut’ is ludicrous, I mean how much does pineapple cost? Even the desserts went to crap. Mind you, the seafood buffet dinner is $ 35.00 a person. This is grossly overpriced for such a very limited selection and for the low quality of food. If you have a free coupon, I would highly suggest you go at 4pm and never later than 6:30 pm. The grilled fish is ok, but if you order your fish fried, the oil is so dirty after 7pm, and the burnt oil smell is just horrendous giving the food a nasty burnt taste. The wait staff has always been great. Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse, it did. This place has gone downhill ever since Harrah’s threw Paula Dean under the bus. The food that should be cold is warm, the food that should be hot, is barely warm. This is why i am no longer a diamond card player here, we used to enjoy a night of gaming and a nice buffet dinner but that hasn’t been the case for at least a year or so. I am through with Harrahs joliet casino. It’s sad no one from Harrah’s reads or responds to the poor ratings Flavours buffet has received. I guess they don’t care, which is fine. There are plenty of other gaming options in illinois and northern Indiana. HARRAH’S CLOSETHISPLACEDOWNBEFOREYOUKILLSOMEONE!!!

Went back to Flavors yesterday. Geez what a difference from the first visit. Opening at 11: am we ate at noon. Dry stale over cooked food filled the buffet. What a disappointment compared to our first visit. And nobody behind the counter to serve you at the carving station. Better off going to their hamburger stand.

As I read the reviews I was very hesitant to go to this buffet. How we had two free comps. I would say the food was average. I enjoyed the salad bar. There were not many meat options. I had turkey. I was impressed by the fried green beans, the fried rice, the cheese biscuits and of course the ice cream machine. The staff was great, it was clean. Would probably not pay for this buffet but would go back for free. I am not sure how the dinner options are as I went for lunch.

The food here is horrible. Not worth your money. No wonder they give away free meals. I will never eat here again even though it’s free and that’s saying something.

I was completely impressed with the service but the food was mediocre at best! Most of the food was cold and no flavor and the food was scarce I’ve never seen a buffet so small in my life! I would never come back

At roughly $ 19 pp not bad. I’ve had worse but the quality was good and variety was equal to most. Desserts were a plus and our favs were the huge chocolate chip cookies and Eclairs with real filling not whipped cream.

The pizza and salad were good… everything else was bad. They had lots of cajun type of food, which was a joke. Cajuns wouldn’t serve that to their dogs. Even the dirty rice didn’t taste right.

Had breakfast there once. Gross. Everything was fake. Fake eggs, nasty corned beef hash. So no more breakfast. Tried lunch since we had a free coupon. Now lunch was really good. Great variety and very good quality food. We had a month worth of coupons for once a week so we went every Saturday. We even tried dinner once. It was like lunch leftovers. It was the same kind of foods but like they were sitting out all day waiting to be served again later. We don’t get the coupons anymore and I can’t see myself going to a buffet every week and paying for it! We may go as a treat once in a while. It is about 13 – 15 bucks for lunch, I think and is worth it. The breakfast and dinner, not so much.

If it were cheaper, I’d probably give this buffet maybe two stars. But, for $ 25.99 per person, it was horrible. Golden Corral beats this place by far!

We decided to try the buffet before going to an event at the Rialto, since we thought everyone would be able to find things they like. First we were surprised by the price, over $ 30 a person, but we paid it thinking it would be a really great buffet. But that didn’t turn out to be the case. It was underwhelming. The flank steak was so tough I couldn’t eat it. The shrimp scampi was over cooked and rubbery. I tried a roasted chicken leg but it was also rubbery. We came around 5, so everything should have been fresh. My daughter became sick later that night, which made me thankful I hadn’t eaten much after being disappointed in the quality. It just seemed that not a lot of special attention was devoted to the food, and possibly some of it had been sitting out too long. I won’t return.

Having been to other Harrah’s casinos, we were completely disappointed in this buffet. With a cost of $ 25.99 per person, it left ALOT to be desired. We will Not be back.

Lower end casino buffet. Service: Service is really the only reason that I would rate it higher than one star. They will bend over backwards for you, shame the buffet is garbage. The Wait: Never a wait always very quick even on the weekends. Food: Oh boy, Listen. Other than their brunch buffet(brunch for some reason seems to be amazing) don’t even bother coming here unless you have a voucher or comp for the buffet. Everything tends to be old but never cold. Everything on the buffet is dry and not very«Flavorful» as the name would describe. Overall: I’d skip this if you want to pay for a over priced buffet. This is a laughing joke compared to the Harrah’s Flavors Buffet from Las Vegas. Keep driving down the road to Golden Corral. You will save money and probably even enjoy it a little better.

The breakfast buffet is good with gluten friendly. I wish they had more gluten friendly options for dinner. Or at least list ‘allergies’ to be aware of with foods. The friday night special price was not worth it if u dont like crab legs & are gluten free. They do give $ 25 off price once u hit $ 100 which is easy for 4 ppl for dinner so 2 ppl were basically free for breakfast.

Dinner buffet was fair. Salads very boring. The usual buffet dishes. Buffalo wings, shrimp, chicken, etc. Deserts not bad. Enjoyed the hot Fudge sauce. The booth I sat at was filthy. Food on seat and floor. Should never have been seated at that table. Server very attentive.

Let’s begin with the salad bar: — soup too thin; more broth than substance — unripe, pinkish cherry tomatoes, many with stems still attached. — sloppy salad dressing containers. Spills from one container onto other containers make for one disgusting display. I passed on the dressing. Part of the problem is how the containers are stacked. It is a long reach to the rear containers which makes it very easy to tip the container so that dressing spills onto other containers. — the stuff that should be cold was cold. The steak was good. The rotisserie chicken was more dry than moist, but still edible. The fried shrimp was good tasting, but more than half the shrimp in the container was stuck together in clumps. Someone need lessons in deep-frying. The bread was hard and a bit stale tasting. The dessert selection is fine if you like anything and everything, but if you want a simple brownie, forget it. We had dinner yesterday, a Saturday, which is Steak and Shrimp night. There was a good selection of steaks and shrimp. Comments about displays: — reaching the rear food containers under the glass requires a long reach. — some of the food bins were skimpy and not replenished quickly enough. — all the food was labeled. I liked this. Service was fine. The butter and Sierra Mist were the best parts of the meal. This quote comes off the Harrah’s page: «Voted the Las Vegas Buffet Wars winner in 2013, Flavors the Buffet brings a fun and lively dining experience to Harrah’s Joliet.» Well, this isn’t Las Vegas and this restaurant wouldn’t win any awards and I can’t say that it was a «fun and lively dining experience.» whatever that is supposed to mean. I might have rated this restaurant 2 ½ stars if I could. But, 3 stars means A-OK and the restaurant wasn’t quite A-OK. 2 stars means I’ve experienced better and that is very true.

Good food, food temperature is great and after being there a few times very consistent. Everything tastes like its made from scratch which is very important when at this price point.
