Honestly the best asian cusine. The veggie fried rice is a dream come true. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. So much food to bring home. Amazing!!!

I have been a loyal Fu Ming customer for over 10 years(the West Warwick location) and I finally made it to their new Johnston location today. Their food has always been A+ but I have to say I love this new restaurant better then the other one. Very easy to find, plenty of parking, well lit and best of all unbelievably good food. Mai is the sweetest nicest person ever(she owns/works the front) she makes the dining experience that much better. I ordered takeout and it was hot and ready when I got there and tasted delicious!!! The prices can’t be beat especially considering how great the quality is. They offer a full bar and plenty of sitting tables. If your in the area, this is the place to get the best Chinese :-D

Ordered delivery from providence… They said 45 mins and they came in 30. Food hot. Fried dumplings were good! I like that they have extra sauce. Got the generals chicken… I am really picky when it comes to chicken and I can honestly say this was tasty and didn’t taste like cat. White meat, spicy and sweet. It was not a 10 but not disgusting like every other Chinese delivery that we have ordered. Good service too! Looking forward to trying other items on the menus.

Everything my friends and I ordered was fresh and tasty. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise in an area of Johnston which is a bit drab. The wait staff were efficient and friendly in a genuine way, as well. Try the lo mein, steamed dumplings, and puffy crab rangoons. The fried rice is quite good, too, and I’m not usually a fan. I sampled from my friends’ plates and everything was delicious. Drinks are good and they’re not watered down like at some restaurants. There’s a nice, casual, family-friendly vibe there, as well, and it’s a fun place to go with a group of friends. Make room in the fridge for leftovers. The portions are huge, and I have to say that this place is pretty inexpensive. I’ll definitely be heading back, at some point.

Absolutely the best tasting all around Chinese food I have ever had I am NOT related lol I just am in the customer service business and I believe when something is found that is good it should be shared the prices are ridiculously low and every single thing is amazing the largest chicken fingers I have ever seen the rice is perfect the sweet and sour sauce is the best in the business you will be guaranteed not to be disappointed

I truly love coming to this place. It has a small little parking lot that makes the exterior feel homey. The owner Mai whom I took a picture with is extremely welcoming and is always there with a warm smile! I wanted the House Wor Mein which is like a pan fried noodle with mixed vegetable and meat. It usually comes with battered fried chicken. But since I was the only one in the place sitting at the bar on a late Monday I asked for the chicken to be general tsao’s instead ;p Extremely accommodating! I’m sitting here at the bar enjoying my dinner and drink. And watching«The Voice»! Bliss !

Love their food! Their house fried chicken is great! I love their rice and house lo mein. A little pricey than your average Chinese food restaurant but good. Close to home so its good for me.

The could be the grossest Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. It was like mall chinese food. I am usually not so negative but when the even the crab rangoons suck, I can’t handle it. I wouldn’t recommend this.

Awful Awful Awful! Food was disgusting. VERY greasy, and cold! We dined in which is the sad part. We were the only couple in there eating besides two people at the bar, and one guy with his child. The child was out of control… running everywhere in the restaurant, coming up to us and leaving, and the parent just keep saying come here come here! The waitress looked embarrassed to even be there. On the way out the Asian woman asked how the food was I said disgusting and cold. She said she would have put the heat on… I know it was a communication error but at that point we had just had enough. NEVERAGAIN!

Hubs really wanted Chinese food one night and I grudgingly agreed to go on the hunt for a place, as I have yet to find a Chinese food place in or around our neighborhood that is even partially good. We headed to Johnston thinking this place was still Jade East(I had never tried it) and were a bit excited to see it was something new. The inside was very clean which was nice to see. We decided on the old stand-by of a Pu Pu Platter and it was delicious and huge, we got another meal out of it. Our waitress was super friendly and I’m happy to finally have a good Chinese place near us(although it’s still not close enough for delivery, boo!)

Jade East before this wasn’t that great but is so much compared compared to what it is now. I was not impressed. Everything was overly greasy. The Beef Teriyaki was an insult. The best beef teriyaki in RI is right down the street at Red Ginger. Go there. They have real Asian cuisine as well as «American» Chinese. I will never, ever, ever, ever come back to Fu-Ming. Very surprised to see a 5 star review down there.

Close but No Cigar Once again the toughest review to write is about a Chinese restaurant. We gave this place a try last week. Several of my friends have been going to this place lately and all the food I’ve seen looks pretty good. We went in and ordered a scorpion bowl for two and an appetizer sampler. The scorpion bowl was done well. However the apps weren’t that good. We’re going to get this place another try and I will amend the review. We’re going to try the generals chicken and a few other items that I’ve seen that looked pretty good. Thanks

I’m so happy that this place opened! It’s about time we had some good Chinese food in the area. The service was friendly and quick, and the inside has better natural lighting and a better setup than the previous restaurant that was here. The blue upholstered dining chairs they have are beautiful! Their scorpion bowl for two is large and VERY strong. They have a good-sized menu of Asian inspired cocktails that I’m sure are all just as delicious. We both ended up getting the #15 special combination plate because it had all of our favorite dishes on it. Everything was delicious! Beef teriyaki: super tender and juicy with nice flavor. Crab rangoon: good filling, crispy shell. General Tso’s: fresh, all white meat chicken with light breading, and the sauce was really tasty. I would have liked it a bit more spicy though, and will definitely ask next time if they can take it up a notch. Pork fried rice: pretty standard, but good and tasted very fresh. For the portions we got, it was VERY fairly priced! It was an extremely generous amount of food that we couldn’t eat all of in one sitting. The owners are very nice and made sure we got takeout menus on our way out. This was a treat compared to other Chinese in the area, so we will definitely be back soon!
