Super 8 Johnson City

The internet said rooms were available for around 60.00 $ but when I got there they pulled a bait and switch and charged me almost 100 and she didnt tell me the price until i already let her swipe my card and said it was the only room available, but all night the parking lot didnt have many cars in it, i feel duped and they didnt tell me about Wyndham rewards program. I feel taken advantage of.

Worst hotel/​motel I’ve been to in a long time not only did they over charge my stay, it was more expensive then those around and they kept opening our room up to check things… didn’t call the room first or anything. Wtf was up with that? The room was a smoking room, so we knew going in that it was going to be bad but we didn’t expect that. We found booger on our towels, they only put 1 brew for a one cup coffee pot when there where two beds… which makes no sense to me. The service was rude, they acted like we were an inconvenience… The beds were retchet, it was like sleeping on card board on top of a pile of gravel. The room stayed hot we constantly had to run the ac, the shower wood work intermittently, and the TV was ancient it was a huge clunker from the 90s before they invented flat screens… had no place to plug in HDMI cables either. Lastly there was hardly any plug ins, do these people expect us to show up n be entertained with this crap– I think not just look away from this ull b better off for it

Great place to stay for the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast that was supposed to be from 6 to 9 was closed by 8:30, so get there early. Mattress was hard and there were only 2 pillows on the Queen bed. Close to restaurants in the area and major highways. Free wi-​fi was a nice bonus.

Staff was friendly, location was good. I didn’t have any issues with room cleaning, had plenty of towers and washcloths, and breakfast was sufficient for the price. I’d stay here again…

This motel is a very decent place to stay, but there are one or two things that could use improvement. The rooms are tiny and very full of furniture and the beds are a bit too hard.
We spent 5 nights here during the ASA National Tournament, and it was decent, clean and fairly comfortable, and the staff were perfectly lovely and helpful. The free Wi-​Fi was a big plus, but when the place was full, it was often impossible to log on (needs more routers!).
We might consider staying here again, because it’s impossible to beat the price, and the people are great, but those mattresses…
