Italian Pizza Pub

I have no idea why Italian Pizza Pub does not have more reviews!!! But this place is a gem — it may look a little sketchy from the outside as it is an older building but inside the great smell of quality Italian food is what you get as soon as you walk in.
This is one of those places that has amazing lunch and dinner specials. If you are looking for a place with great food at a great price this is it! The place inside is basic but comfortable.
For those New Yorkers the slices are the same foldable style and quality you would expect there right here. JC has allot of quality pizza but this one is very high on my list as well as for other Italian dishes.
Service is great and with a smile. Everything just feels right. it is casual but quality. There is a really nice area outdoors as well so you can soak up a nice day with great food. I see no reason to go to a chain with food of this quality and price.
They are not going to rush anything just to get it out so be prepared for a little wait as they get the food right!
I will be back over and over!!! Thanks for being there!

Another good no frills place in Johnson city.
The pizza is great. You can’t beat the special of two slices and a coke. The pizza is a good representation of NYC style pizza with a thin crispy crust, good sauce, and real cheese.
The service is friendly, not gushing but very accommodating, which is a good thing.
I’m happy to say that I can avoid chain pizza places in Johnson city thanks to Italian pizza pub (among other pizza places in JC)

Yes! This is the best Pizza in town! I mean the best!!! Really the best! Seriously, I don’t know how else to review IPP! Just go, try it and you will agree!

Best pizza in town. Hands down. Great salads. Just a nice little beside of campus pizza joint. Ingredients are always fresh. And the food is always consistent. The owner, Bert, is a great guy.
Get the Sicilian. Order ahead because it takes a while longer because they are sticklers for making sure the crust is just right. Well worth it.

Best pizza in Johnson City. Very close to New York style, with garlicky, tangy sauce and well-​flavored cheese (not gluey or bland like some places in town). Pasta and meatball subs are also excellent.

Absolutely phenomenal. Of the two chefs I know of that work there, one is from Italy (not sure of his training but I don’t think that matters), and the other is a classically trained 5 star chef. Best pizza/​calzones/​stromboli/​lasagna in town. Reasonably priced.
