We all love the drive in! Our neighbors and us make a monthly trip to Jesup for a movie night when we can. The website and Facebook page are regularly updated and you can always call if you have any questions. We usually bring food in and just pay the permit but their food is pretty good too and that’s how they make the majority of their sales! The owners are very friendly and kind, we’ve always had a good experience with them and their employees. Once our car died and they kindly gave us a jump. There are speakers on one side now that they updated it. I think it’s the side facing the highway. But both sides are great! One side also has a great children’s playground with picnic tables that you can use until the movie starts. The movie starts at 9 and then there is a break until the next one starts because some people only come for the one movie or don’t want to be out so late. We usually get there at 7 to get good spots and let the kids play and catch up. If there are people in the backseat I definitely recommend bringing blankets or chairs to sit on outside of the car because it’s hard to see from a backseat! Definitely recommend the drive in for a fun, cheap night of entertainment!

My husband and I love this place! We go at least once a month because the price is really good, 7 dollars a person to see 2 movies. We like that you can just sit outside in some lawn chairs. its a great experience. We enjoy it more than regular movie theaters. I don’t know how the food is or the service so I can’t comment on that. We usually bring a radio with us to turn on because otherwise you have to keep your car on to hear the movie. I will say that I wish they would control the kids more because a lot of times they will be screaming while playing on the playground in front of the screen. Also they need more employees walking around keeping an eye on things. I’ve seen cars sneak in through the exit lane so they can get in free and also I’ve seen some people argue with each other about lights being on or somebody being too loud so having somebody walking around monitoring would be great.

Terrible experience. The movie advertised was not the one shown. To make matters worse, the movie stopped playing halfway through and it took them 30 minutes to get it back up and running.

Enjoyable theater, like the retro see it in your car style. Food is a little pricey, but that’s expected in a movie theater. It’s definitely a nice place to go for a date

Wonderful place to be able to watch a movie with little ones and actually watch the movie. Need I say more? I only wish the had the bouncy house up like the website depicts. Unfortunately, in my last few visits, the bouncy house was not up. Perhaps it was destroyed. Anyhow, the moves are new releases and depending on which screen you are at, you can rely on the outdoor speakers for sound. End up at the other screen and you will have to use your vehicles radio. Fear not, as you don’t need to attach that silly device to your antenna like in the good ‘ol days; instead, you tune in to one of the FM stations like you would with an iPod transmitter. Fun!!!

I’ve never been to a Drive-In theater before, so I was really excited about going to Jesup Drive-In Theater. It’s a family run business and the people are really nice. For $ 7, you can watch a double feature(the second movie is FREE) The snack bar offers candy, hot dogs, pizza, nachos and soda.(I brought a few of my own snacks) If you’re ever in the area, I would recommend you check it out.

If you have children and love movies then this is the place for you! My family and I went to the drive in a few weeks ago to see HOP. None of us had been to a drive in(I didn’t realize they were still around) so we weren’t sure what to expect. We got there pretty early because I was paranoid about not getting a good parking spot. I guess I shouldn’t have worried because the screen was huge! Instead of using speakers, like back in the olden days, we turn the radio station to a certain channel to hear the movie. The concession stand is pretty much standard. An arm and a leg for food. I did like how they had more than just popcorn and nachos as far as hot food. I think next time we’ll stop at a fast food place to get some grub to «bring» in. Also the stand stays open all movie, which is good too. The drive in normally does a double feature but since we weren’t interested in the second film and the kids fell asleep in the car we left after the first movie was over. We will definitely be back !
