Food was so so with higher than expected prices. Seating is terrible !! Groups can’t sit together unless they want to sit on high stools(not suitable for disabled or elderly) No suitable seating for very small children. Sure do miss the Crest

This diner is amazing! My husband and I got the shore burger which was made to both of our liking and was very rich in flavor. The switched out our regular fries which come with the burger for chili cheese fries and they were to die for! We are so happy we stopped here for dinner and will definitely make the hour drive to come again!

We are back and decided to try lunch this time. My wife got the charbroiled chicken salad and I got the Shore Burger. The Shore bacon is pretty incredible. The Shore sauce is also good. Makes a good dipping sauce for fries. The salad was delicious. Nice fresh greens, not your run of the mill iceberg lettuce. My daughter got the chicken tenders and much to our surprise they were thin cut chicken cutlets with Italian bread crumbs. This was a delight. Not the typical chicken tenders deep fried with way to much breading here! I will likely be getting these next time. This is proving to be a go to place for us when we are in Jersey Shore

The décor is amazing, service top notch, and the new menu items were winners. Loved everything about The Shore Diner. I loved the original restaurant’s food as well, especially their breakfast, so I went in a bit skeptical, but The Shore Diner exceeded all of my expectations. So personable and the manager seemed genuinely happy to be serving the Jersey Shore community. They are my new go-to spot for home cooked food. Can’t speak highly enough about this place. My only recommendation would be to offer breakfast all day. Other than that, I love The Shore Diner!

We have been to this diner before when it was the Crest, which specialized in home cooked meals at very affordable prices. So, when The Shore Diner opened, we had to go and see if the food was still as good and plentiful. Well, the interior has been completely renovated, which looks absolutely fantastic. There are better seating areas and arrangements. We were very pleased. Then, we looked at the menu. I wasn’t very happy with it. Not a whole lot of choices if you are there for dinner. No home cooked comfort food, and the prices were expensive for us. We got cheesesteaks, which were good, but not a lot of meat on them, and we had asked our server if they came with fries, and she said yes. When the cheesesteaks came, they were with potato chips(not home made chips either — just plain chips). I am hoping that this is just because they are getting started and it will get better.
