Roma Italian Imports Deli

We just had the best pastrami sandwich and mortadella sandwich from Roma’s! Jack has been there for over 40 years, and he is so friendly. This is the best deli I’ve been to in Jersey City. We took our food to go and ate it at Columbia Park.

Mom & pop businesses gotta put 100% into it for the joint to survive. It’s hard work I bet, and Roma’s certainly gets the job done right. When you love what you do, the end product of your work is usually very rewarding to those who give you business. The sandwiches are amazing and the hot plates are topnotch each and everytime I go there. To top that, the guys behind the counter are very nice.

Great sandwiches at a terrific price. All of the food is always fresh and their homemade meatballs are awesome. We always pick up some subs and head to the beach. yum, yum, yum

As Far as lunch goes, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO
I work close to the border of Bayonne and Jersey City and this is my GO TO Deli. If you are looking for good sandwiches and lunch specials that will out do anything you can buy for 5 dollars, this is THE PLACE.
Every day there is a hot lunch special which range from veal cutlet, to steak and potatoes, to chicken parm, and stuffed chicken and brocolli.
For 4.75−5.75 you get a decent size lunch portion but the quality is what will get you. If you are lucky enough to go on the days when they are making pizza, I would grab a slice as well.
I always go there for the Hot Roast Beef with Moz and extra Gravy (i also ask for the gravy on the side).
Talk to Jack and have him make your sandwich, very nice and pleasant all around.
The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is because certain days you might not get the chips that you want or the drink that you are craving. Although this is a minor thing and you let things go, it’s just something to note that you are not going to a Subway or something of that nature.
