Lin’s Gourmet

Their food was bland. My roommate and I ordered from this place two days ago and let’s just say… NEVER Again! Their fried rices barely had any vegetables, or beef or shrimp, it tasted like just cooked rice mixed in oil. The fried chicken wings was their only saving grace.

I would give 7 stars if I could. Never judge a book by its cover because by the look of this place on it’s outside appearance you would probably pass it up. Once inside, it’s a different experience. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and I still keep coming back. Don’t matter if it’s the same week or the next day! Even though now I order the same thing all the time now. Food is very fresh and always hot!!!

Consistently good food, and I’ve ordered numerous times. I always order on-​line then pick-​up; never had any problems. One thing though – some of the on-​line prices are not the same as what’s on the current menu, but only by cents. It might be significant on some items where you place more than one order; a good example is the fried chicken wings which has a 50-​cent difference, so that’s already an additional dollar on 2 orders. Oh, and brown rice is an addition; not a substitute. Overall, a pleasant experience so far; and the owner’s kids have been very helpful lately so definitely no language issue. I’m glad this place is around for when I have the craving. ..

Lin’s has great food. They cook it the way you ask them too. I first learned about Lin’s on grub hub, because I was new to jersey city from NY so I was looking for a place that had chinese food like I’m use to when I lived in NY and I must say Lin’s has not disappointed me yet. I have tried different foods and every one I have tried was great. So if you want excellent chinese food try Lin’s

I had the shrimp and broccoli which was great. This place is always nice over the phone and they even have online ordering. Very convenient and fast with great quality!

My friend who gets delivery to his place at 172 culver ave regularly, turned me on to Lins gourmet few months back when he ordered the ribs. The spare ribs are outstanding and tonight I said to try the chicken wings. Well they are golden crispy and fresh also. Not your regular old Chinese chicken wings. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

How has this place not been reviewed yet? I must order from here once a week at minimum. I’m seriously becoming Sandra Bullock from Two Weeks Notice. I stock up on my Chinese orders bc it’s so good and I want a variety!
It’s quick (less than an hour. usually like 35 – 40 minutes), they know where my complex is and how to access it, and they never screw up the order. Plus, the food is pretty delish. I’d highly recommend their noodle dishes, dumplings, juicy mini pork buns (i.e. soup dumplings), or combo/​lunch specials. It comes neatly packed and the pricing is not outrageous.
You can go online to order from them, so you don’t even need to have a conversation with anyone!!! They also accept credit cards or cash. Once you’ve logged on and ordered, you can store your info and just reorder or build out a new order. Very convenient. Highly recommended!!!

My wife is a huge chinese food fan where as I am not. I usually protest chinese for dinner but every once in a while I have to give in… but I’ve gotta say, I haven’t had anything for Lin’s that I haven’t enjoyed. Their General T’so’s Chicken is great and its crispy when it arrives which is a huge plus for me. I love their fried wontons as well and my wife is in love with their pork fried rice. You can’t go wrong with this place, their delivery service is super fast too.
