Ceallaigh is spectacular, I strongly recommend coming here. There is one of the rare times when I have spoken to someone and can tell they are extremely knowledgeable about their craft. She encouraged questions and had a well thought out reason for everything she did. I had an extremely customized session and saw positive effects immediately. Much better results than physical therapy. Go. You won’t regret it.

Ceallaigh is a true professional and skilled in pain management, informed in physiology, and a great masseuse. Massages here and functional and with purpose to improve flexibility, release tension, and manage chronic pain. This is not a superficial pampering massage so if that’s what you’re into (no judgment if you are) I suggest going elsewhere. I highly recommend Knead.

I made an appointment to see a therapist who gave me an incredible chair massage at a wework in Manhattan. I was beyond excited for a full body massage and left my three kids with my husband (including a newborn) for a Sunday night appointment. I came to Jersey City all the way from Harlem. To an empty, shuttered studio. I received two confirmation emails for my appointment. But no one showed up and no one returned any of my calls. Radio silence. Not cool. Bad style. Terrible business. At least just call and say sorry jeez.

I initially went to see Ceallaigh for long term neck pain. Over several sessions, she not only relieved my neck pain, but also helped me obtain full range of motion. Since then I’ve continued to see her for other muscle-​related issues due to over exercise, stress, and age.
She has an incredible knowledge of anatomy and physiology. She is always on time for my appointment. She is a great communicator, letting me know the muscle group she’s working on. She’s given me stretching exercises to help me when I’m not on the table. She caters the massage to whatever concerns I have.
She isn’t someone to go for a ‘spa’ experience, her massage can be painful, but the short term discomfort is worth the long term results that I’ve experienced. It is clear to me that she is someone who loves her work. She is thrilled to hear when I have no pain, and I’m thrilled that someone of her caliber is located in downtown Jersey City.

It was a little hard to get a hold of them, but worth it nonetheless. Their little shop right on Jersey between Columbus and Newark, is cute and relaxing. I was having some acute pain around my shoulders and neck and Erin was fantastic in helping me! She focused on exactly the right spots and used a balance clinical and therapeutic techniques to relax my neck muscles.
