I’ve been going to this nail salon for the past 15 years, and have yet to find another one like it! They take their time and clean the cuticles properly… apparently some salons find this hard to do. I especially love getting my nails done by Sue & Ann, they both pay close attention to detail. I pay them a visit about once a month, and I never leave disappointed.

I went there a couple of weeks ago and got a gel full set and a pedicure. The pedi was ok but my hands were a disaster and I got a nail fongus. This has never happened to me before. Not only did the nails look terribly thick and I had gel on my actual finger skin but I also got this awful fongus on my middle finger nail.

my mother and I have been coming here for years! compared to all the other places that I had gone to in the past, they are absolutely the best. they take their time with you, make your hands and feet look and feel wonderful. I have a problem w an ingrown nail and they take it without a problem and no pain. their prices are a tad more then other places but it’s well worth the quality!

In the Journal Square area, finding a nail salon was a bit harder than expected. Enter in Hawaii Nail salon. It was crowded. I waited. While waiting in this some what not as clean as you’d like place, the properieter who was quite nice, was at the same time was yelling over to his son on the other end of the salon who was running around playing. By no means was he being mean, I think he may have thought it was endearing but, quite frankly it was just unprofessional and not relaxing. Their colors of OPI and Essie aren’t current and quite limited so definitely bring your own. The overall nail job was good. They did a thorough job with the cuticles but, no massaging at all. Overall, this place is bare bones but for a quick $ 10 manicure it gets the job done. I probably wouldn’t come back.

They do take their time with you and do a great job on your nails. One of the things I liked is their massage chairs while they do your pedicure. The polishes are at a minimal selection, so I suggest that you bring your own polish. If you go on a Saturday, go after two. The mornings are packed! also go on Tuesdays and Weds. they are less people on those days.

Not a fan of this place. I will probably never go there again. Expense for the service that they provide. Looks unkept and dirty. Massage chairs that don’t work. Limited color selection. After a 3 days my polish chipped. I would not recommend anyone here.

Pros(2): 1) Cheap. 2) Good. Cons(2): 1) A limited selection of polishes.(They do have Essie, but not the usual range, and they also cheap stuff. First time around, if you have something you like at home, brong it.) 2) They’ll talk about you in Vietnamese. Sometimes you can tell and it’s annoying, Sometimes you just read your magazine and don’t notice. Proviso: There can be a considerable wait if you come at the wrong time, which is mid-late morning on a Saturday. If you must go on a Saturday, be there at 9-am-ish or wait until well into the afternoon.
