We ordered delivery here and I had a feeling it was going to be an issue with the language barrier, but I tried anyway. Aye aye aye. The workers were sweet and the delivery man was very very nice, but it took forever(about an hour and a half), some items were missed and with the language barrier and reading the receipt I noticed several things were written down incorrectly. The food was good, however it was less then hot(more than room temperature), but I was expecting my food hot– especially for how long it took. They gave us a free bottle of soda, I think because of how long it took– which was nice. I would order from here again, but I will NOT be ordering delivery. I’ll order pick up when convenient so I can go in and check on my order, but with it getting cold out… my trip back here may have to wait until spring.

Lovely authentic Mexican restaurant. The food is great and definitely worth its value both in terms of its quality and quantity. The staff are also very friendly and kind, definitely a family vibe here!

Been there three times, decent food without any modification in Mexican taste, but if you don’t know Spanish then it can take few moments to understand menu or explain it to some of the staff at place(happened in my case), but they managed to take my order in English for specific instruction(as I’m vegetarian and get very few choices and have to twist order as per that) and got food as I ordered. Enchiladas are best at that place, tried twice with different sauce and loved both.

Delicious food but it’s a little pricey. All dishes are hand made and very tasteful…

Awesome place to pick up a sandwich de Torta to go! Very delicious and I love the fact that they have a lot of Mexicans products that are hard to find, the lighting is very low and I feel like they should probably remodel a bit lol but I would definitely recommend trying a Sandwich here for sure!

Tacos carnita was horrible — chunks of meat, not sure if it was pork. Good salsa and chips and good cilantro sauce. Café com leche lacked robustness and the overall feel of the place teeters on too dingy for licensing. Lots of «food» for the buck, it just wasn’t good quality or tasteful. Oh boy, hope I don’t get sick.

Fresh and excellent Mexican food. I would stick to ordering off of the menu as much as possible, substitutions come off not as we’ll as regular menu items. The menu is mostly in Spanish, and ordering delivery in English is a little hard, but totally doable with some patience on both ends of the phone.

The kitchen does get slammed but their food is REALLY good. It is authentic Mexican food and I will wait as long as I have to for it. They do get confused sometimes when you order because their English wasn’t well spoken.

I generally like to leave longer reviews to discuss service food quality and prices. Unfortunately that will be impossible here because I never got to try their food. Yesterday my friend and I placed an order after being ignored for five minutes and were told it would take a half hour. We left and came back and asked about it. The waitress told us five minutes and ignored is for the next ten. We walked out without paying because it wasn’t just a long wait it was flat out disrespectful. I can appreciate that sometimes good takes a bit longer if your kitchen is slammed but your job as a server is to communicate that to customers not to ignore them while they stand at front of your space. Truly awful. Also the menu on Unilocal does not reflect the misspelled and more expensive menu they have in store.

With Cinco de Mayo coming up I figured it was time I reviewed Cinco De Mayo. Nice little hole in the wall place with 8 tables some baked goods(breads, desserts, etc.) They also have dried herbs for your cooking needs. I have been here numerous times for lunch and tonight had delivery. The food has been spot on. Their delivery cannot be beat, they quoted us 30 minutes, the food came in that time frame still hot.(From a delivery boy on a bicycle, you can’t make this up that is how close I live) The prices are very reasonable(under $ 10 for most meals). Any Mexican place I go to my first try is their tacos, if they are good, I will try something else. My taco favorite is the Tacos campechanos which is two choices of meat together(I had steak and chorizo). Tonight we ordered delivery for the first time. I wanted something sort of light, so I went with the enchiladas with the poblano mole. It was delicious with just the right amount of heat. My wife went with the Chimichangas with steak. It was huge and served with guacamole, rice and salad. We also had the maduros. Hope you know a little Spanish or can wing it because English is limited, even on the menu. The TV even has Spanish novellas playing on Telemundo.

LEGIT Mexican flare. A hole in the wall but this is the real deal with great food. Don’t waste your time on overpriced Charritos && try out this spot!

Nice lady but limited English. Flautas were delish and fulfilling: 2 longgg stuffed rolls with chicken. acovado.lettuce. beans. cheese and some orange sauce! Inside the place it’s dark and a mix of all different type of stuff but it’s these hole in the wall spots that are the best! No stomache!

I have come here about 5 times in total and every time we’ve come the food is delicious, the service is good and you def. feel like you in a mom and pop shop. I love that they all you to BYOB or any other alcoholic beverage and provide a bucket of ice for us. I am not crazy that they have spanish soap opera playing but other then that I have no complains… their guac it outta controll good, as well as their quesadillas and tostadas… and let not forget tacos and burritos and toras… nevermind everything!!!

I had high hopes for this place but was turned off by their nasty customer service. I called to place an order for delivery and received nothing but attitude and poor customer service. After each item I ordered she responded by saying, «just ONE?.» ummmm yes, considering that I’m trying to order 10 different items to try a lot of menu. After 5 minutes of trying to place my order she finally asked for address and continued to give me attitude after I gave her my address. She then put me on hold to ask if they delivered and that’s when I finally had enough and hung up. HEARTBROKEN!

Got flautas. Pretty good. Probably would have been better if I put the sauce on it. But I didn’t. This place is also a bakery and it gives it this particular vibe you won’t get anywhere else. I really felt like I was in Mexico. The décor wasn’t all Applebees and expensive, I felt like I was in El Desperado. But I didn’t walk away from any explosions. Mexican doesn’t do anything bad to my stomach.

The food here is authentic Mexican and most of the time they are consistent with how it’s served. Service can be slow but that’s par for the course with these places. They are much more layed back than your typical chain restaurants but the food is worth the wait. The place is a restaurant/bakery that also sells spices and snacks made in Mexico.

My mouth is watering just thinking about this place… I always get the chicken tacos… mmm mmm. You have to be patient for your food if you want to tk it to go so call ahead or chill n watch the soccer game on tv… Everything is seasoned to perfection with all the works… I love that they have the classic glass coca cola bottles, its much tastier compared to the american produced corn syrup colas… take a yummy dessert to go before you leave. Prices are reasonable, server is pleasant, best Mexican food in the area… yup better than the taqueria downtown…

I disagree with the previous poster about the service. I’ve been here twice and they have been very helpful and pleasant especially to someone who doesn’t speak Spanish. The food is really authentic and absolutely delicious! It’s also a great value for the money. The food is not too expensive and you get a lot of it.
