I recently stumbled on this gem after getting out of church and seeing posted flyers on the street. What a happy discovery! Boomerangs is a pop-up vintage shop only open on the weekends. It shares a space with the art gallery/music venue Pianoland. There’s something for everyone here: the first half of the store is dedicated to housewares, jewelry, furniture, collectibles, and everything in between, and the second half is dedicated to vintage fashion for both men and women, including purses, belts, tees, and shoes. For record lovers like myself, there is a huge collection displayed around the store. I lucked out with some great finds on my first trip here, which were priced very well. I bought a vintage leather maroon medium sized bag that’s great for work($ 25), a NY Giants belt buckle circa 1971 for my boyfriend($ 12), and a beautiful raspberry and gold colored choker necklace($ 15). Easily in New York these purchases would have been far more expensive. From what it sounds like, the vendors rotate their inventory frequently, so I plan to stop by again to check out what else I can find.
