Great little store with some awesome mid century accent pieces and cool Americana kick-​knacks. Also very reasonably priced and the owner was very friendly and approachable.

If I were 20% more artistic and design-​conscious and thereby 20% less of a practical scientist and minimalist, I would outfit my whole place with trimmings from Beekman Lane. It’s gorgeously appointed, with all kinds of cool touches of whimsy. I love how antique items get a new, refreshed lease on life in a new environment. There’s something very poetic about that and when I get the chance, I think I’ll put pen to paper on that one…
In any case, do yourself a favor, take a stroll down this lovely part of Jersey Ave, and stop in.

Beekman Lane is an adorable little shop with very sweet owners. I don’t get to Jersey City very often, so I don’t get to stop by as much as I would like but it’s a great place to visit. If the shop window doesn’t pull you in, the friendly owners will.
The shop is a small (ish) space so it seems like that have to put a lot of thought into the pieces that they want to sell. I run away from large shops that I have to sift through to find the good stuff so this is a big plus in my books.
